      No ice age yet, but years ago, when I lived in Idaho, we went to Yellow Stone at the end of June, and had to leave because of a blizzard. They closed the park for a week.

      My oldest is 44. I still think of her as a toddler. I don't think we ever stop being a parent.

    Still no water

      When we lived in Idaho, 40 years ago, it got down to 40 below for 2 weeks. We used Xmas tree lights to thaw the water pipes outside, and my husband got some heat tape, used for mobile homes, to help thaw the pipes. The Xmas tree lights worked best. I don't know if Xmas tree lights get that hot anymore. Good luck and stay warm.

    I'm in mourning for my cat baby who died this morning. I have a big empty hole in my heart and life now. She has been with me for over 12 years.

      I am so sorry for the loss of your pet. We lost our kitty some years ago, and we all still expect to see her waiting in the window, when we come home. I hope you find peace.
