Hey @coolspear I'm wondering if we can have your permission to post updated mods in your section as a fan-based community to keep some of the popular mods updated? I checked one that I use all the time, and it seems EA did a lot of code cleaning which screwed up almost everyone's work. I use your writing mod that broke with the recent patch. So I made a small update for my own use. When I came here, I see a lot of comments asking when the mods will be updated. I thought "Gee. Cool made a big announcement about retiring from modding. People still want them anyway." I would like to know if it is ok for me to upload a fixed version for your writing mod. No guarantee about the others. I just figure it would be a small contribution as a form of thanks for your years of modding and guidance.

The forum is still down. I haven't been able to access the site properly for a few days on Firefox. I'm on Microsoft Edge which seemed to help but still get errors.

Wanted to post a public update on TFM since so many people had PM'd me asking. She is not back home yet but they are doing okay and hanging in there. She is comfortable and being fed well but ready to get back to her computer and wanted you guys to know she is okay!

I forgot she lives in TX. I hope she and her family are safe too. My aunt lives near where Hurricane Harvey tore through the state recently, but she was visiting her son in CA at the time. And hope everyone is doing all right.

So exciting, but also stressful, watching the Blue Jays play in their first trip to the post-season since 1993. Being down in the series the way they are and knowing they NEED to win the rest of the games of this series to move on, I'm gonna go crazy watching this.

We lived down the road from the Royals stadium that we actually heard the fireworks from there. Watched the game last night between the Royals and the Blue Jays. Very close!

I have served on Jury Duty 10 times so am hoping I do not have to report for another possible case on the 30th. I don't want to do it anymore.

I know the feeling. I recently served Jury Duty last December. Every 3 years, they just send me a notice. I think my name is on a special list that's not part of the pool of what. 500,000 people living in the area?

Haven't started yet! I explored the town and poked into the houses that were placed there. They are definitely beautiful.

Playing sims with a 32" screen tv as a monitor. it looks so pretty

Big screens. Yum. My screen was a wide 22", large enough that I had to modify the Sims 2 game files to use resolutions larger than 1040x768. I'd love a screenshot. :)

I spent the night putting new families into Sleepy's Sleepy Paradise hood. Brought back a couple of Sims, Jeri Esau from the Fugly Challenge and Svetlana Chenkov (Wogan Hemlock's daughter). Should be interesting to see how the game goes later today! :)
