It's so frustrating when I have to keep repeating the same thing over and over telling him to stop something and he just DOESN'T listen.

I gave up, had her put on her shoes, we went outside and we chased each other around the entire house. My neighbors now have no doubt I am crazy, but she did calm down.

Wish that would work with my son but if he can't listen to me inside the house, I can't trust him to listen outside. And besides, we live in an apartment without any sort of play area/space outside. So, I'd have to contend with the risk of him going out into the parking lot, which could be a bad thing.
