Crap, now it's my turn for a major storm. Granted it will be nice to wash away the humidity, I just hope I don't lose my power.

Why does life have to kick you down right when your starting to climb back up? Van decided to just quit on us today. Hubby's parents think it's the battery (it was their van first, and they had same problem). I hope that's all it is, heaven knows we don't need worse than that right now in the middle of getting ready to move.

Having similar problems all the time but still rising up and going on. Wish you victory over your battles. just keep up and don't let it trow you down. I'm not giving you life lessons now, just trying to encourage you.

It seems to always happen to us to SS. I had to buy a used tire for my truck or run without a spare.

Desktop decided to stupid on me. Having to rely on the significantly less capable laptop for internet access. I really hope to have my main PC back soon, and with a hopefully cheap repair pricetag

Well, it turned out my motherboard was toast. Thankfully they had another system available there for a half decent price, and we had/have family that is willing to help us out. So, hopefully within a few days I should have another system back up and running. I don't think I've ever wanted to play with my simmies more than now, when I can't, haha.

The worst part is, usually when stuff like this happens I can figure out what I did and figure out how to avoid it, cause im computer smart like that. This is not the first time something like this has happened and I have NO idea what I'm hitting though.

For me, it's usually when I accidentally hit tab, then hit the backspace. It usually happens when I'm almost done writing a post here. Good luck solving the mystery.

Supposed to go to my uncles for a dinner barbeque but somehow managed to misplace the only set of our keys with a key for the main door on our apartment. If we can't find that set we won't be able to go. :(

We've almost literally turned the place upside down. The problem is that the other half has trouble putting things away properly and tends to sometimes leave things in the most obscure places, that they could almost be anywhere.

FINALLY got around to reinstalling all my Sims 3 expansions after reformatting my computer about 3 months ago. Now comes the fun job of getting the updates for and re-setting up my mods considering there have been 2 patches since I last played.

I found it easiest to just ditch my entire folder then wander my favorite places grabbing what sounded interesting

Well by mods, I don't mean CC. I mean the game fixing ones that Blue, TFM, Twallan and others do, and there are a fair number of those I just CAN'T play without. I have the CC I was using backed up and just need to drop it in, its the mods though I need to get the updated copies of, since the last time I had updated them was right after Showtime came out.

Just to put it out there - moving is a pain in the rear, especially when in the process of packing you discover you have bed bugs and get your move date pushed back until it can be cleared up, after all your plans were in place for the original date.

Decided to take a look at Cloud's site for the first time yesterday, and I just want to say "Damn You" to the people who spoiled Zane for the rest. He'd have been a perfect sim to add to my games

Some days I wish my other half had a volume control. He starts to almost yell a lot of the time when playing his video games and it drives me crazy, especially when the baby is in the room trying to nap.

Gotta love those moments when you realize something isn't working for a really simple reason. Yep, I just realized some of my CC wasn't showing in game because I forgot to enable the folder it was in, on CCMagic.

Haha yeah. Not sure if you noticed my post in the thread where you posted the vending machines for TFM where I asked where they were supposed to show up in game. They were in this folder that wasn't enabled, which explains why I couldn't find them, haha.

One of the worst things of a cold is when you have a stuffed nose, blow your nose to clear it, only to have it plug up again immediately after.

So exciting, but also stressful, watching the Blue Jays play in their first trip to the post-season since 1993. Being down in the series the way they are and knowing they NEED to win the rest of the games of this series to move on, I'm gonna go crazy watching this.

Just got a hold of University, and so just spent last night and a bit of today doing the Mod Update dance. Hopefully get to play a bit tonight.

It drives me totally crazy, then again my current mind frame doesn't help, when the man does things without thinking about the impact of them on me, like making pitstops on his way home that prolong his time out when he knows I'm at home waiting for him to be home at approximately a specific time.

Went on a mini sim downloading spree, but was also prompted to rediscover that certain site for obtaining paid TSR items for free!

And well other stuff too, it was only the TSR stuff I remembered though.

Installed the new EP, and apparently was only on Patch level 1.54. Had to manual patch the rest of the way up to 1.55

Apparently my hand decided to punch a wall today on my way out from my hairdressers. Walked out the door, turned the corner and "smack", my hand found the smallest bit of the wall sticking out. Got a sore ring finger now.

Ugh!! Something similar happened to me about a couple of months ago. Also hurt my ring finger, and and to this day it's still sore. So, get some ice and put it on your hand, and I wish you the best!!!
