I can write the middle and the end to a hundred stories, but the beginnings always make me want to give up. I hate trying to figure out how to start a story.

I am the opposite, love the newness of the beginning, tend to get bogged down around the middle.

Same as you Rose. Beginnings pop into my head, endings too, it's the middle that's the slog

Wolfie says endings are her problems, thats why there are six books of Mick's story and 4 more books about his kids, so far and 1 half done prelude.
