This mod is designed specifically to guarantee a Bestseller book for those sims who have put in the effort to reach Bestseller status. If a sim has maxed out all relevant skills, has all relevant traits -  including starting traits and buyable traits, has the room filled with inspiring décor, and you even took the time out to get all their motives in great shape before they sit down to write, then after all that preparation - no mean feat in itself, you'll be wanting to see a Bestseller for sure. This mod will ensure it. Preparation, preparation, preparation. The key to success.

Sims with low skills, unrelated traits, no inspiring décor and a full, bright red, ready to burst bladder? You're on your own with that...

Update September 2023 - Remade mod anew with latest book recipe files. This mod contains two new xml files. One I missed a while back, for writing Knitting manuals. Now your top knot Knitting Writers get those guaranteed bestsellers. Also with latest Equestrian file. Those experienced equestrian aficionados, the Writing Riders, can knock out their How To Horsie books happy with the guaranteed galloping bestseller results.

thank you coolspear,i know a few others from your mods doesn`t needed updating either like faster painting and creating master pieces

but there is something i kinda wanted to ask,i have looked every where for a mod that made crafting on the workbench or pumpkin station faster but can`t find it,i i like your mods one of the bests (kiss ass lol) i believe your the one whould could make a mod like that.

It is against site rules to use. There is not a 'calm down' about it. As a gay person or not, it is not okay to use words like that here, 'homie'

As Nellas said, it is a violation of our rules and not tolerated.

The use of homo may not bother you, but it bothers a lot of people. I have received several PMs and emails thanking me for not allowing the word to be used because it bothers them. As the mother of a gay man, it bothers me. Regardless of who it bothers, homo is a derogatory term for a gay man. That makes it a slur. Period.

Also here's a piece of friendly advice for you @rcgional, don't tell the owner of a site to "calm down homie" when they are nicely asking someone to follow the rules. Most site owners will ban you for that.  

Friend could make a mod where the SIM can earn more money making books as a writer my sim spends hours and hours in front of the computer thanks

use the quicker wrting mod from coolspear wich you also will find in the general mods section

I was just visiting to get a look at XML used.

I've been using these creativity mods for a long time now and should let you know how appreciative I am of them. Thanks for your hard work. These are invaluable. I especially like being able to have my mom's self sim (she's a writer IRL) read her own books to her grandkids just like mine does. It's a beautiful thing!

Been running this one with the Freelancer career and the writer aspiration. So far not one book has been sent back for editing. :)

Can this be updated please?

@brichi7coolspear has about a gajillion mods to go through, update and check. Please give him a few "minutes" to get that done. 

Guess what else? He also keeps a running list in EVERY SINGLE SECTION as to what he will be doing. Please check every section including the main one for updates. 

Is it within guidelines to comment that it appears crafting as a whole took a major hit with this latest patch?

 

In any case, many generations of authors thank you for this one. So many Global Superstar teens thanks to this and one "instant writing" mod or another. ;)
