Totally understand your decision, I'm just a cut & paste merchant but even I can't always keep up with the constant changes (for no reason I can see) and patches. And I too would like to see them leave this game and go play elsewhere. I wish we could just decide to stop updating and adding new packs and shake off EA's big brother claws. If we could play offline like before I would be happy with that.
But I have come back to say I was wrong about the impeccable food and the prepped ingredients. After taking out this mod I am getting impeccable food again, not as often as I would like but it is there. I am not even trying to garnish the food when excellent because when I tried a couple of times it had a message saying the food quality was already at maximum. However, because the only way to get me to give up your mods is to pry them out my cold dead hands, I am still using 13 "cool1_food&drink_EasierImpeccable.insert food type here.
And they appear to be ok, so far, but I am getting a few LEs but I'm working on finding out what's causing them.

I guessed it laziness at the EA end but as I've had a few LEs I thought I'd check it wasn't just me. That said I haven't had any when attempting to upgrade the food, but I will remove the mod today. Thanks for letting me know.

Ah I see, well to tell the truth I put off updating my game from February until a few weeks ago and I've found that I'm mistaking unfamiliar things for those I've forgotten or remember differently. Thanks for letting me know about the above. I have your Droids and they are awesome. I dread the day when this is discovered by their programmers and they attempt to take it away. I still think that the Cooler is the best object I've ever downloaded but the Droids and the Wormhole Travel Portal come a very close second.

I don't know if I'm alone in this either, but as its bothering me a bit here it is. Since the update I can't garnish food to impeccable any more. Not only that, all the food made with the prepped/chopped up ingredients is never impeccable and can't be upgraded even when using the debug cheat (something I do when eating in sim restaurants). Not sure if EA has done this on purpose or not, but it's affecting this amazing mod. Oh and all my food used to cook is perfect, so all the hard work to get the veggies perfect and the right aspiration rewards are wasted right now.

I just grabbed this because when I actually used this and all it had on it wa sprom music I too thought it was just my game. So I made an override and put a base game stereo tuning in it and reduced the humongous footprint.however, it didn't work, still just prom music, but on the plus side I could upgrade it.
So I gave up and left as is, until now, thank you.

I love the new Cooler, but I've found a couple of things that I'm not sure are meant to be or not. I can't use it for storage any more and the antidote is no longer in it. If it's meant to be this way sorry for the bug report.

Yes I did update and I even brought the pack. I was expecting (dreading) that it would interfere with your food mods. The cooler also doesn't seem to be letting me have any food at all but I'm sure you have sussed all that by now. I always find that updates break the things I least expect. I'm getting a few errors, but as usual, I can't make out whether its an object or mod that causing them. I do know that my fish bowls are throwing errors, I didn't mod them just used the base game bowl as a clone. I have looked to see what has changed but can't see it. I expected my fridge to be broken, it's only a Cool Kitchen fridge with the expensive fridges tuning, but the last big food update broke it but not this time. I have just brought the high school pack and am learning my way around it so any mods there would be great.

Thought I'd mention here that I'm having a few odd moments with this. It's one of my favourite mods but I've noticed that I cant access the antidotes any more. It appears to work normally in other respects, although an update did empty them all a while back. There has been a few updates since it last needed looking at, so relativity speaking it's been a fantastic mod to have resisted them all so well.

No worries coolspear. I don't have your problem with programming but I am fed up with every patch seemingly breaking something that should be just sitting and looking good. Mainly its shadows on objects, they appear from nowhere, sometimes huge shadows behind an object, other times its a table or something similar has an odd cast to it. The worse thing is they seem to come and go, I have learnt to delete the occluders and then wait and see. I made candle holders for the Eco Lifestyle candles but after a couple of patches the candles end up in the household inventories if the sim leaves the house? So frustrating! My son brought me the mother of all graphics card for my 60th this year (3 weeks ago) I can see pores on faces when watching videos, but this game still lags
A long while back while feeling like shit I spent weeks in Blender trying new things and converting meshes for fun. The thing was that's all I did and I found out that like you say, as we get a bit older we don't need to eat a lot to gain a frightening amount of weight. Still fighting it myself, got salad growing in the garden which is a great mood boost when I know all the food I'm eating is clean and trying to take more exercise now all the new Treks have finished. Trying.
Anyway thanks for the input, I had a whole new lot of LEs last night that I don't understand so I'm going try and figure out what is causing the problems. I would actually like some of the stuff that's in the new Highschool pack but I am going to wait until they have sorted the new problems they have introduced. Good luck with the updating

Hi, I thought I should say that you are right about the LEs not being anything to do with your mods. I do receive a MCC LE warning on lots that have your old cooler on but once I delete and rebuy all is well. I am also getting lots of random LE reports about things that seem linked to the inventories but in most cases I'm not aware of. I wonder if they are linked to fact that most of my sims end up with those clay blobs or the future cubes in their inventories seemingly by magic. I am always deleting these objects as they drive me insane, I can see no point to this bit of programming. But if the game is constantly trying to dump random stuff into personal inventories then maybe that is part of the problem? Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this problem. Maybe this new patch (1.90.358) will fix it

Sorry for the delay unwell and forgetful.
It seems to be a one off, however my game is not always saving so I am not sure I have answered accurately. No the insect repellent wasn't in the inventory of the cooler just in the sims personal inventory and non of it was generated with the 'makeacoolcopy' mod. This was a household I hadn't played for a few weeks. Yes the game is fully patched to the WeirdWolf patch. Something I noticed a while (around 6 weeks ago) ago was that if there was a BBQ on a lot, ncps would make the 'stress free herbal remedy(?)' continually or until I reset the bbq, and sometimes even after the reset. I saw a brief joke from the EA crew about his but can't recall when and where. I've no idea if there is a link but the herbal remedies are causing the same old problem in my game as they did a few years back, re-after the cooking is complete the sim resets and the bottle ends up on the floor. I had to delete over 20 bottles (of the stress reliever) on one lot after the patch before the new one, but this at least seems to have been fixed, but the sim resetting and bottle on the floor after crafting is still happening no matter what remedy they craft . I was going to test tonight but the game I played 19/06/2022 is not showing in game, the save is there in the documents folder but in my game those saves are just not there/available/showing? So this may be my fault. I have tried everything I know of to stop this but it seems I can't fix it. Sorry to have bothered you if the LEs were just a side effect of my games odd behaviour.

I did nothing out of the ordinary, the Sim I was playing does have a cooler in the basement but the insect repellant is in his personal inventory. I've been playing all afternoon with a few different sims and so far no more problems, but I've been wondering why this happened. Any advice?

Coolspear if you wanted to use any objects for this project I will be happy to make the object a base game decorative version so you could add any tuning you wanted. I don't have Strangerville though.

The sims 4 team keeps saying they want to improve this game, however instead of looking at issues that create lag and fixing those, like all of the above you mentioned they just continue to add to it.
I admit I like some of the food stalls, I thankfully haven’t had the coffee drinking problem. I enjoy getting my sims to try new food this way as the restaurants are still not functioning properly in fact they are worse than ever after the last update.
Crumplebottom in my game seems to stay in the village. In fact she is easy to befriend. (I like her in this game!) The stall holders there are important if you want to do the errands and earn the upgrade parts for the chicken coop and for buying groceries and wool, and also I think for the aspiration connected to the village although I can't recall how. I have spent some time in the village and the main characters at first seemed to be unique until the bar owners were changed for someone new? This really annoyed me no idea why, and made me think that maybe they could all be replaced just as easily if the player wanted to add them to their playable sims? The errands are something I do to pass time and get my sims out the house and I found I can also learn animal treat recipes this way. The errands need the villagers to be present as most of them include talking or delivering stuff. The festivals are of course a little borked in my game, such as the notification saying its chickens and it's actually cows. Oh and it drags on until 11pm! Seriously I live in the country, we are usually all in the pub by that time, sod the prize giving at 10/11pm. But I digress, the festivals need to be working to complete the 'win first prize in a festival' thingy in the village aspiration. I only wish they were a little more, well more. Go to one and you will know what I mean. I feel the need for stalls with home made food and crafts, and of course the morris men (with bells on because no one likes an unexpected morris man). And a witch telling fortunes and selling potions, and the beer tent selling home made
poison, beer and wine. But back to the point, I feel the village locals are important as are the festivals if the aspiration is to be completed. The same could be said for Snowy Escape, both aspirations need the festivals to be competed.When I brought University, Snowy Escape and Realm Of Magic all at once it took me a couple of months to play them all and figure them out. I hope you have fun with your new packs. I'm really glad you are back and thank you for the updates.

This is my all time favourite mod.
Can I ask would you consider doing this for the Eco Lifestyle and the new Cottage Living neighbourhoods? I have been surprised by the amount of complaints or remarks about the wandering npcs in the countryside in Henford-On-Bagley. I snarl about them all the time but I have rarely seen so many comments across the community about this before. They are of course ridiculous, 3am and there they are wandering about and even grilling food that of course no one will eat. This isn't a request I was just wondering if it may become an option in the future.

Ah! I too ordered groceries once and no one turned up, I also have the no to everyone on my doors even with empty streets (I was still getting visitors with 'presents' from the eco lifestyle thingy). So it's the door locks!
Coolspear I too have a thing about the tooltips, when I get meat (not sure about the other things) from completing an errand it has nothing on it at all. I have been spoilt with your top quality food and drink and all my sims garden and all their produce is perfect so the meat thing is off putting. I tried putting it on the floor near a golden chicken, they will make anything top quality, but I can't recall if it worked or not. (The repairo spell works too on a lot of things.) I have to admit when I saw you had put all the groceries in the fruit bowl I was delighted, it means no more going to the kiosk when all I need was some sugar.

You mention that you wanted feedback on the 'Dancing Isn't performing' mod, it works perfectly in my game. Or it was up until last night. I updated today to 1.71 and haven't played my famous sims yet but no LEs, so I'm guessing it's still perfect. It's also vital for parties/weddings. Thank you

Ok, well as I said I don't understand the ea LE reports that's why I use BE. The mod still generated an EA last exception before I had BE so maybe it's something in my game I just can't find, and I have pulled them all out and put them in in tiny batches, the last time I did that was in February when I had to replace my motherboard so it was a fresh install. I have a couple of new mods that I dare not use with this because I don't know what has been changed but they are doing the job for now.

Thank you for taking a look. Yes it is Sulani and it is the old king vamp, the first time I had ever seen a vamp there, and thinking about it I haven't ever seen any outside sims there before. I usually have empty streets in so It's been so long I didn't give it much thought. I ran the game in the begining with just 'Start lots paused' and the better exceptions but no vamp came during that play and that was over a week. I tried talking about vamps to see if that would bring them in, it might have done after I loaded the mods I just don't know. I use Better Exceptions because I cannot understand maxis le reports and when I make an object I need to know its not the cause of any problems. I have looked and had a go at understanding how the mods are made but yours are little works of art. I have no chance of figuring out how to do them myself. The vamps in my game are all reformed so they cause no risk but they drive me crazy at the restaurants flying to move 1/2 steps, even if I have turned off move like an idiot vamp all the time.
Plus they don't eat, why are they even there? grrrr.
So that;s why i was using the mod.

Yes they do, I tried a couple I thought may be compatible LittleMsSam_ExperimentalFoodServings & LittleMsSam_SeafoodServings. All the vender foods vanished from the fridge menu and the experimental food servings did not increase. I should have known better I know

Yes it does bother me now I know, but they seem to be holding their own. I found the big LE problem it was a piece of clothing and since its been gone there are no more bug reports. I understand why you have left them as they are, it's such a massive undertaking to keep up with their nonsense. But these/your mods prove their worth a hundred times more than EA shit. Until they grind to a halt (like the buyable traits
) they will have a place in my game. Thanks for all the fun stuff, no modder comes close to what you do, I've had a perfect game once and it was all your mods
