  1. Aaaah, Coolspear, you don't really think that Maxis will permanently FIX this or other stuff in the next patch? They'll give you even MORE work, because if they fix something, they break all the more elsewhere. - But don't mind me just being my usual pessimistic self.

There've been so many times modders (including you) put their mods out because Maxis were supposed to have fixed something. Most of it wasn't fixed at all or came back with some of the next patches or new packs.

  2. All in all I found the whole action to bring us closer together as a community. It's the first time I've seen "mama" in action (kudos!), and I'm sorry if I reacted with too much irony and drama. This person was some narcissist out of the books, and if someone's mean to Coolspear I need to act (yes, I know, he can fight for himself). AND I love how Kimi and TFM reacted. :yourethebest:

I'm glad to be part of this community!!! Thank you all. :love7::grouphug:

So, yes Sir, now back to some calm.

  3. Ooooh, what a beautiful troll-thingy have we caught ourselves here! :spiteful: Indeed, these evil rules with having to register somewhere. SO annoying! :impatient:

And Coolspear, he is SO dependent on our comments. He wouldn't do any modding if we wouldn't regularely bow to him, crawl backwards and hail that cool dude. And he NEEDS our perfect writing, because he's so bad at writing himself, yeah. :57b447afa7cbb_19(2):

Mr/Mrs MandatoryAccount:  You already grabbed a lot of attention now (that was not your purpose, of course!:rolleyes1:). Well, try to outwit Coolspear!!! :muchies: Good luck with that! :evilone2:

I'm sure he will cry into his beer because of your nasty thoughts. He will give up his job, call his shrink, repent and wail. Maybe he'll create fake accounts to leave comments for himself (you don't know if most accounts here ARE Coolspear's own accounts, ruling the Asylum's world in evil secrecy :nervous:), cause he SO SO needs cheers after each and every sentence he utters. And he's got the time, that lazy modder, having stubbornly left behind the friendly MTS site, now sneaking around here with his small amount of mods, so dependent on our feedback.

Man, Coolspear, you lazy butt! If EA/Muxxis haven't achieved to put you off from modding, the mighty MandatoryGuyGirl will see to it! Watch him flee the naughty premises, Coolspear is finally defeated. :crying:He will rip the last comments and run, and we all should do the same, just grab his few mods and run for our lives.

MandatoryAccount then can create his own site (without mandatory accounts) and take over the little work of Coolspear. Shouldn't be much effort. Eeasy-peasy. :good-luck:

    @Kimi: Sorry, couldn't help myself.

  4. WOW, you have been very busy again (just read through the patch notes)!

I'm very much looking forward to all of it, and dinos with coffee sound - ahem - "interesing" (indeed!). Especially when you have the corresponding venues for it at hand in order to get the real "cool effect". :57b4480e103eb_thanks-smiley-emoticon(1):

The guys and girls at the Film Studio (with the usual "nice" traits; barf buff): Let them be unhappy if it's too much work! But as far as I know you, perfectionist and all, you will grill them until they behave. :devils001::57b447afa7cbb_19(2): Also, I'm sure Maxis won't stop your WSC mods, at least not forever. Too much work in these mods, years of work, if I remember correctly. You'll take it as a challenge, up the ante, unless you find another game that lets you forget your sims forever and ever and ever. :tackle:

  5. I want to add another big THANK YOU for this awesome package of restaurant mods! :loveshower:

I really like visiting restaurants with my sims, also I very much like to play the food critic career. And: Since all these mods have been properly installed, the restaurants work like a charm! It is astounding how quick and smoothly everything runs: Guests sit down almost immediately, waiter arrives and food is served (without landing on the floor which was "oh so funny", pfffh!) so fast that it reminds me of "The Sims 2" times. There it was a bit TOO fast and not a real restaurant experience, but here it is exactly as it should be. And what I find also important: The excellent food and drink quality that our sims are treated with most of the time :))). I never got served bad quality food or drinks since these mods, only some guy at the other table had one, but that was custom food.

So THIS really is a fantastic mod package for foodies like me and for nice sim experiences when you can really treat your sim family or friends with excellent food, great memories and a sweet time together. :60::62:

I hope that EA will never mess up their game files to the extend that this (and the other WSC mods) won't work anymore (or Coolspear quits modding :omg:). When and if Maxis finally give up  the game, meaning their patches and "bug repair" experiments, we'll have a great time, I think.

  6. Maybe your chef station is in the wrong place and causes route failures? The cause is definitely NOT this mod. My chefs are working better than ever before! - You should check your cooking station and the restaurant setting as well as other mods that might be responsible for the problem. - There's also the possibility that you don't have enabled enough sims "in zone" (read Coolspear's general description for that).

Sorry for my English. Good luck! :-)

  7. Experience tells us that it's never your mods causing problems in game like the new addiction to browsing art, except from the player not waiting for updated files after patches, of course. The art browsing used to be a thing aeons ago before your mod and I cut it off with McTuner (there were SO many actions that sims could perform with their computer and I had to get them out one by one), but later didn't need that anymore thanks to your mod. Now here's to EA: it's back again with the music obsession among other nasty things. :spincycle:

Isn't it astonishing WHAT these guys at Maxis always and always again achieve with each patch?! They can't do that on purpose, can they? It's crazy.  I'm really wondering what's going on there and HOW they do it, WHY they put certain things in and out of the Sim action, rolling the dice or what. LOL, maybe they really have some kind of fun event for their kids and have them play mix and mash with their files.

    Same old, same old. :idontgetit:

Only wanted to say (same old, too): Looking forward to your new "funky little mod"! :loveshower:

  8. Me, too!!! :good:

The idea to get rid of the extreme music instrument addiction is a great one, indeed. I've got the impression that the music thing became worse over the last weeks or months. Maybe that's due to all the nice mods that did away with most other irritating actions :littlewave:.  However, these wicked sims always seem to find something different to annoy us. :muahahaha:

Looking forward to your new "music intervention"!

  9. I tried to "transfer" my All-In-Ones a long time ago (saved in the library) into a new world. It is indeed very random how the game uses them. Some immediately show up in the proper jobs (barkeeper, barista etc.), others are "street fun seekers" and/or get normal jobs, even actors and other crew people of the actor career. They don't live in houses and are unplayed, but that doesn't make a difference.

I think we have to repeat the whole "set up" procedure for every brand new save. - With Coolspear's :littlewave: other mods all random NPC workers are much better than before, but it's not the same outcome as with the temporary setup.

That was at least my experience. I only started one or two new saves for testing purposes, and the "imported" 16 sims never went back to their former status, although SOME were randomly chosen.

  10. Oh shit!

Does this mean: if I cheated some sims high on fame, just to see what happens (weeks ago) and it annoyed me with all the fans and shit, that it will cause me endless LE's - UNLESS I go way back to the save BEFORE giving fame to him?

Oh crap. Did I understand it correctly? - Means for the time being better not touch famous sims and let them stay famous?

BTW: I have the option set "on" (sorry, don't know what's it in English), that no "normal" sim should gain fame autonomously. The toilet and Patchy managed it nonetheless, but I'm not sure about other sims. I don't want too many famous sims in my game.

Well, thanks for the warning!!! - In regard to "Hotel California", it fits the whole Sims 4 game: We can check out every time we like (take a break), but we can never leave. - LOL. We always come back for some reason, even if everything gets zombiefied with lag, bugs and sims reacting to fame or the weather or fruitcake. :rolleyes1:

  11. Never mind !  I can always use other toilets, but it's a test save, and my main sim has her own loo locked up (not famous). I'm watching the whole thing out of curiosity, but wouldn't want to have that in my "real" sim families.

I really don't know how the toilet managed to "get famous". Maybe because I did film Judith Whatshername in every situation (made some kind of "asylum" with some snobby celebs, some slobs and one very rude mannered disrespectful sim to fight, film and provoke them all), and she was often close to the toilet in front of her beloved mirror or complaining there, and then other sims followed her, so that the room got crowded. Maybe that's the way a loo gets famous only by being in the same room with celebs. - Same goes for Patchy. He just walked in at some point and never left, drank all the alcohol there and got mixed up with the crowd. Doesn't admire the loo, though. And still does his cleaning job sometimes.

OT: Oh btw, your garden helper grimsy gnome took part on my harvest event yesterday (hopping around with the rest of the visiting gnomes). He looked SO cool and creepy amongst all the other gnomes.:ok: - Oh, but I didn't watch out if gnomes can get famous, too. :hehhehheh:(What about sack lunch friends??!)

  12. Yep, hurray and thank you so much!!! :loveshower: I'm curious if it even stops the loo pilgrimage, so that this famous entity is able to do it's job again, LOL. It has to "clean the celebrities", but in other ways than your mod. :hehehe:

I totally agree with all the rest you've written. These bugs seem to undergo some kind of secret evolution, they are let out into the wild of our game (knowingly or unknowingly by their dubious designers),  and our poor sims have to meet and greet the monsters.

50 shapes of how to mess up our game with another pack, patch, Patchy.

Thanks for the new mods :tackle: and your perseverance to scrutinize these evil xmls creatures, even if they try to hide and seem to be shapeshifters :fear:

  13. Thank you so much!!!! :loveshower: I always hated the klepto trait (and it was given ever so often to butlers and maids who had to be killed off, until I never got butlers again - too arduous a task with all the killing), but I haven't noticed yet that they geared it up with GF :devils001:. I'm still annoyed about all the fan hype and craziness (can't my sim be sodding famous without the fans and shit?!). Only played a few times up to now, because it's such a pain with the screaming fans and all that :wallbash_red:. For me that's unrealistic and silly (who would really screech and faint because of another person?!), but obviously some people behave like that around "stars" like --- ahem --- Baby Ariel, what's her name? LOL.
