I haven't tried bowling this go around yet. I also play on half speed though, so I've been wondering if Sims basically stand around with their thumbs up their butts for eons waiting their turn. I suspected they probably did, so this will be a very welcome addition once I finally get around to trying bowling.

Thanks for this! I will definitely use this on my community lots in other worlds - love the realism factor. It's a shame they didn't make this a regular buy object, so we could do that. Makes sense for Sims in other areas to be able read about the festivals.

That said: I've been playing in San Myshuno quite a bit since the release. It's a bit of a pain. The overlapping food stalls and festivals are a real headache. Hopefully they'll fix that sometime in the next year! I have my thoughts on what's going on there, but I hate posting on Answers HQ unless I have to.

Well. Damn. I thought maybe that might help. I'm guessing it's some change they made. I wish they would test things more thoroughly. I really want to believe in their QA people, but sometimes it's a bit difficult.

P.S. Off topic, but check the thread on Answers HQ about the massage table. Someone replied and explained how they fixed the autonomy issue in their own game. Might be something you haven't tried yet.

I don't know if it does or not. Hmm. @coolspear does this cover the incense? If not, is it possibly to add it or is that something completely separate?

I don't use the incense a lot, but I think I might have had one catch a window and some cabinets on fire a long time ago, because I had it on a shelf above the sink - can't remember if I was using this mod then or not (would have been way back when MB was still modding).

Well, obviously I know that. I was specifically referring to the workflow of the QA team and how they prioritize which bugs to work on. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

I'm am glad to see SimGuru Nick say on his Twitter that they are actively working on the bug that's causing Sims to be unable to swim laps. I'm just curious what else they're working on. I wish they were more transparent. Of course, I understand they can't say too much or else people get going on something and it gets out of control. But just some idea what bugs are high on their priority list would be nice.

So the Lab is basically suffering from Groundhog Day syndrome. What a PIA.

I forgot about the looping items have been removed glitch. I got mad at the game and how bad the GTW patch screwed stuff up (I literally just got the damn game for Valentine's Day - right before that patch, basically) and I didn't play it for several months. I came back around the time of GT's release. That's also when I found out about MC Command Center, which also helped lure me back, or I'd still be fighting the lag monster of Sims 3.

When Maxis breaks something, they really go all out don't they. That's ridiculous.

@coolspear S4S probably won't update till after the bowling pack comes out, so people can do recolors of the new objects and CAS items. Just a guess. I'm also wondering if we'll will get a new beta version or if they'll update Harmony.

I just clicked the "Me Too". I was in my spa lot last night and I didn't see what's going on in that picture in my game. But it could be random and something I've missed.

Do you use Twitter? I swear I hate it and I haven't used it in a couple of years, but I'm about to sign back up just for tweeting the Gurus. It seems like it helps more when things get tweeted to SimGuru Nick. Sigh. So frustrating.

And that's so strange about the things missing only on the active career lots. Been thinking about that today. It's like there's a damn pox on the active careers. I've yet to try anything besides retail since I got GTW last year! Every time I think of it, something new is borked, and I put it on the backburner.

I'll keep an eye out for this animation problem in my spa when I play from now on. And if I see it, I'll get a screencap and post it on that thread. 

Well there was definitely some furor over on the Officials. Someone posted the tuning and it is just for walkbys. And then Graham verified that and said they need to address the wording on that lot trait in a future update. So SimGuru Nick spoke wrongly on Twitter.

I hope you can eventually release your zone mods, because I'm dying to get them in my game. I don't miss anything from Sims 3, except being able to micromanage my lots with the Register mod and the Caste system from NRAAS Story Progression.

I don't need a gazillion homeless teens generated to wander my neighborhood. If I'm going to have them, then they need to be on a lot and doing things, else what's the point. I try not to bitch a lot, but some things really get my blood pressure up.

I just hit the "Me Too" and you know I try to watch for things on there and then check them in my game, so I can make sure to hit that "Me Too" button. Somehow I missed this. I'm glad you caught it and posted, so it's bumped up now.

I have thought about trying the active careers so many times, and I still haven't. Every time I consider it then something else is broken! Just so frustrating. I saw SimGuru Nick say they know about the doctor and detective problems.

I'm really upset, because I just read the "Teen Hangout" lot trait only creates walkbys in the neighborhood. Honestly?! What the heck is the point of that. SimGuru Nick said it was supposed to trigger teen situations in the bars, clubs, and lounges - but, I'm reading it's only triggering walkbys.

Oh well, I soldier on. The Sims is what I do when I have insomnia. For the last twelve years. I guess I'm in for the long haul and can't be helped!

I was in my spa tonight and I haven't seen this weird animation thing you mention. I get some lag on that lot when a lot of people are there, but with a bigger venue I've learned to just deal with that and go on.

I'm hoping the new patch might help a little, because they addressed something about running the klepto swipe test on all Sims by mistake, which caused a lag in deciding actions to take. Now, if they'd just left the damn klepto trait out of the game, well we wouldn't have that problem.

By the way, I haven't seen the items disappearing in my game. Is it just the active career lots it's happening to you on? I'm not playing any of those till they fix some of the bugs. Almost tried the doctor career and decided to wait.

Back to spa lots. In my game, Sims seem obsessed with taking mud baths and baths with soaks, so I'm about ready to rip out the plummin' bathtubs. That's my really big annoyance with spa lots. Well, that and Sims standing clothed in the sauna. Frankly, I think those Sims should die of heat exhaustion.

I hope you get things sorted. And trust me, I would not be shocked if there wasn't someone at Maxis who dabbled in breaking things on purpose.

I don't play with autonomy on for my Sims, but no Inactives are using the massage table autonomously. Only the massage chair from what I see. I've got a club programmed to use my spa lot and I don't even see any of those gals using the table, just the chair while during club gatherings. I didn't think anything of it till reading this thread just now.

Take care of yourself @coolspear. You sound entirely too stressed out. At the end of the day, it's just a game. And Maxis, unfortunately is a huge PIA, but I doubt that will ever change, so we just have to learn not to lose our heads over it.

Trust me, I spent three hours the other night trying to sort out why in blue blazes my Dine Out booths were suddenly disappearing. Turned out to be a damn piece of clutter converted from Sims 3. I mean, really. I had a massive migraine afterward that lasted until the next afternoon.

I haven't patched yet, waiting for the bowling pack. Hopefully they didn't break more than they fixed.

I'm so excited about the zone director mods. There are no words! I wondered how they fared with the recent patches. My library and park already have things in place for baristas and food vendors. I miss how they would have just shown up with Sims 3. I don't understand why Maxis had to make things so convoluted with the coding in Sims 4.

Well I took it out for now. Maybe Catalina will be okay with you taking it over? Really not sure why she's posted them on the officials and nowhere else. I can't even remember how I found them there. I just wanted the Faster Fire Sprinklers and More Focused Reading mods.
