Thank You!

I don't think Turbodriver will be back until mid July. Well I started a quick test family in Sulani last night and the first thing she did was go start the bonfire to read by, in broad daylight. Here I am back needing another of Cool's lovely tweaks. I didn't notice a lockup, but I was pretty tired and not really paying attention as I was noticing the FUN push and thinking I better take it out for now. He hubby decided to go skating within about 8 seconds of loading the house, LOL.

Thanks @coolspear. I will keep checking back. I am good with whatever you put up, I just wasn't sure if this was supposed to be the main version now and if it had to do with your WSC mods which I have not looked into.yet. Today is the day to see if I can wrap my head around them. :)

First and foremost Thank You for all of your hard work in keeping our games playable, we truly do appreciate you more than you know.
I was reading through every mod as I do every update time to enjoy your narrative and familiarize myself, once again, with everything I have added mod wise. I see here that you still have the 4 different offerings for trait slots listed to choose from in the mod description and what I see in the download section is this one. cool1_traits_MorePersonalityTraitSlots_Todd6_Child15_Teen20_YA&Upwards30_GSpecial.rar
Is this now the standard and what does the GSpecial part of the name stand for if you don't mind?

Ohhhhh I've not noticed this one before! I like the globe as a decorative piece but it drives me batty when Sims from child on up go to it constantly for drinks.
-
Is this still relevant? Since my timing is impeccable and I've come back just as there is a new patch, I am only just now looking into replacing my mods and I don't remember this. I didn't see anything on discord about it for MC.

Anthem isn't my style as far as content/game play. I'm just more into using magic or swords than guns, but I have been watching my favorite DA and MA duo as they play the game. Codex Added has a great podcast discussing Bioware games and they have been streaming the game since the first early access, pre-release. I see hints of the Bioware I know in it but so far not the story content (and no romances ) that makes it more immersive. One of them has played it all the way thru and he says it does get there so we shall see. Personally, I wouldn't buy the game, but I hope it does well for DA's sake.

Sounds like the Bioware community has been pretty vocal about that from what I've been hearing.

Saved the day! I seem to have taken a detour into Dragon Age games for awhile, I still was keeping track of Sims updates, expansions, ect and had removed my mods to update as I got new packs. Somewhere along the way I must have deleted the folder I had put them all in and am having to start from scratch again. I was having a senior moment trying to remember how to even set up my mods folder and remembered that you had offered this to us. Yea! Thank You!

I use selectable pets mod and it is a script mod, Coolspear. Just a FYI for ya.

AHA! I recently downloaded a lot that had the tree on it and couldn't for the life of me find it anywhere. When I moved the family out of that house, I had to put the tree in household inventory to take it with me and then delete the lot so I could place it again, whole, for another family. :D

I've gotten lazy and haven't thanked you in every update thread tonight, so here is a big THANKS for all your work. We appreciate you!

The fear thing was driving me nuts! Also love the bath tub. Thanks so much!

Fist of all, thanks for all your hard work with all your mods.
Since the last patch the mod doesn´t seem to work anymore. Before the patch, I had 2 toddlers, and everything was perfect. The adults left them alone, unless I wanted it differently. After the last patch my Sim got pregnant again, got 3 toddlers. And now the adults are constantly checking the toddlers again. They are not interested in anything else. I had to turn off free will. After patches I always start a new game, new sim families, new save and play that until my favorite modders have had a chance to work their magic. I find I make new sim friends that become families I use in my main game. Just an idea to pass the time. .

So happy to have these mods back! I retired one doctor to a new career because it was so frustrating and the current one goes by herself as I can't stand it, now I can get her going again. Thank you.

I do not recall parents telling them to do homework autonomously, plenty of auto help with it though. I've gone back to my main hood and have had the same results as Jenn with no grade gains, but lots of stress from working hard.
-
Started a new world with a family that had a child already and his homework was complete. I got him through the first day of school and he came home with completed homework and a project which he completed. For some reason his performance was at ok, but to be honest I'm not sure that I looked at it to start with. I popped in another family with a child and her homework was also complete. Next day the boy's performance was average after school, as was the girl's.
@Jenn I liked the schedule changes with these mods and didn't even remember the homework part. :D I actually didn't mind them doing their homework, and I think if you hadn't posted I never would even have thought about it. I had noticed the grades not going and up the 75% done thing, but cheated them up, and thought it was because I maybe wasn't staying with one household for enough days or something. (Takes awhile for these things to sink into my old brain apparently)

It was all my kids, but I do have to say that I really hadn't paid much attention to it until I read Jenn's post. Or at least I didn't connect any dots. :D I had seen a couple kids not advancing, but put it down to jumping around households in play. I just "promoted" them. :D
I just found a mod in my LilMsSam folder for Better Autonomous Homework. Could be the issue. :D
-
I actually had the same thing going on, Jenn. I really didn't think much about it until I saw your post. Seems like I had the mods already in when I started this world, but I could be wrong. I'll do some more testing as well since making sure all homework was done while in game last night didn't seem to work for me either.

It would probably be wise to remove all of Coolspear's mods from these sections until he comes back from Holiday break and decides if, or which mods he will update. Only the general section is done at this time.

I believe that has always been the case, seems even with Sims 2 and 3 when modded. I always pull the good (modded) .cfg out when I do anything like that, then just replace it after. The point of the repair, I'd guess, is to restore all of the original files to the game.
