  1. Those 'auroras are totally broken, I had a lot of crashes too, I use Bienchens 'novisibleecoeffets' and that eliminated them. However if I move a sim to another house in any neighbourhood I take them with me as invisible debug items in the household inventory. I delete them and so far I think I am getting away with it. :wha:

  2. Thank you.😁 The sims 4 team keeps saying they want to improve this game, however instead of looking at issues that create lag and fixing those, like all of the above you mentioned they just continue to add to it.

    I admit I like some of the food stalls, I thankfully haven’t had the coffee drinking problem. I enjoy getting my sims to try new food this way as the restaurants are still not functioning properly in fact they are worse than ever after the last update.

    Crumplebottom in my game seems to stay in the village. In fact she is easy to befriend. (I like her in this game!) The stall holders there are important if you want to do the errands and earn the upgrade parts for the chicken coop and for buying groceries and wool, and also I think for the aspiration connected to the village although I can't recall how. I have spent some time in the village and the main characters at first seemed to be unique until the bar owners were changed for someone new? This really annoyed me no idea why, and made me think that maybe they could all be replaced just as easily if the player wanted to add them to their playable sims? The errands are something I do to pass time and get my sims out the house and I found I can also learn animal treat recipes this way. The errands need the villagers to be present as most of them include talking or delivering stuff. The festivals are of course a little borked in my game, such as the notification saying its chickens and it's actually cows. Oh and it drags on until 11pm! Seriously I live in the country, we are usually all in the pub by that time, sod the prize giving at 10/11pm. But I digress, the festivals need to be working to complete the 'win first prize in a festival' thingy in the village aspiration. I only wish they were a little more, well more. Go to one and you will know what I mean. I feel the need for stalls with home made food and crafts, and of course the morris men (with bells on because no one likes an unexpected morris man). And a witch telling fortunes and selling potions, and the beer tent selling home made poison, beer and wine. But back to the point, I feel the village locals are important as are the festivals if the aspiration is to be completed. The same could be said for Snowy Escape, both aspirations need the festivals to be competed.

    When I brought University, Snowy Escape and Realm Of Magic all at once it took me a couple of months to play them all and figure them out. I hope you have fun with your new packs. I'm really glad you are back and thank you for the updates. :hugging:

     

  3. This is my all time favourite mod.🧡 Can I ask would you consider doing this for the Eco Lifestyle and the new Cottage Living neighbourhoods? I have been surprised by the amount of complaints or remarks about the wandering npcs in the countryside in Henford-On-Bagley. I snarl about them all the time but I have rarely seen so many comments across the community about this before. They are of course ridiculous, 3am and there they are wandering about and even grilling food that of course no one will eat. This isn't a request I was just wondering if it may become an option in the future.

  4. Ah! I too ordered groceries once and no one turned up, I also have the no to everyone on my doors even with empty streets (I was still getting visitors with 'presents' from the eco lifestyle thingy). So it's the door locks!

    Coolspear I too have a thing about the tooltips, when I get meat (not sure about the other things)  from completing an errand it has nothing on it at all. I have been spoilt with your top quality food and drink and all my sims garden and all their produce is perfect so the meat thing is off putting. I tried putting it on the floor near a golden chicken, they will make anything top quality, but I can't recall if it worked or not. (The repairo spell works too on a lot of things.) I have to admit when I saw you had put all the groceries in the fruit bowl I was delighted, it means no more going to the kiosk when all I need was some sugar.  😁  

  5. Ok, well as I said I don't understand the ea LE reports that's why I use BE. The mod still generated an EA last exception before I had BE so maybe it's something in my game I just can't find, and I have pulled them all out and put them in in tiny batches, the last time I did that was in February when I had to replace my motherboard so it was a fresh install.  I have a couple of new mods that I dare not use with this because I don't know what has been changed but they are doing the job for now. 

  6. Thank you for taking a look. Yes it is Sulani and it is the old king vamp, the first time I had ever seen a vamp there, and thinking about it I haven't  ever seen any outside sims there before. I usually have empty streets in so It's been so long I didn't give it much thought. I ran the game in the begining with just 'Start lots paused' and the better exceptions but no vamp came during that play and that was over a week. I tried talking about vamps to see if that would bring them in, it might have done after I loaded the mods I just don't know. I use Better Exceptions because I cannot understand maxis le reports and when I make an object I need to know its not the cause of any problems. I have looked and had a go at understanding how the mods are made but yours are little works of art. I have no chance of figuring out how to do them myself. The vamps in my game are all reformed so they cause no risk but they drive me crazy at the restaurants flying to move 1/2 steps, even if I have turned off move like an idiot vamp all the time. :rolleyes2: Plus they don't eat, why are they even there? grrrr. :teehee:So that;s why i was using the mod.  

  7. Yes they do, I tried a couple I thought may be compatible  LittleMsSam_ExperimentalFoodServings & LittleMsSam_SeafoodServings. All the vender foods vanished from the fridge menu and the experimental food servings did not increase. I should have known better I know :blush:

  9. I do have the better exceptions mod, it always reports that no mods were mentioned but it does give a possible cause. I can test for you no worries, I have ofan come to see if others have had problems but if I don't see any I assume it must be just my game. I have very few script mods and they are all up to date. The "drama_scheduler" report is the most common, I have taken out the mods I guessed might be a problem by watching what the sim was doing or what time of day it is. I also wondered if it was something to do with the Sulani plants not being harvestable. I have Bienchens pineapple coconut fix in but that has only been in for a few days. Yes I have an overrides folder, in fact all your mods are in seperate folders prefixed with 00_  so i know where they are all the time.I will go test and use the right thread for the results. :good:

     

  10. Ok no worries. Its odd as since I wrote that it seems to be fluctuating between a glut of calls then a peaceful 8 hours. Whereas the last full real life day had been none stop calls. I don't have Uni so hopefully I will maybe have less crap from that quarter. :titter:  Almost all your mods are working for me, only a couple have thrown LEs (cool1_visitors_Vampires_NoHomeOrLotInvasions- drama_scheduler?) and the gardening one that allows the plants to be ok all year. But the Gardening mod had always been temperamental for me, no idea why. The mods will stay, as I have run out of made up swear words for this game at this time :hehhehheh: Thanks for info.

I think this may be broken after the latest update (1.62.67.1020) I am not just getting the normal calls but a whole new set, like, hey my friend wants to know you can I give him/her your number? And, Sorry to bother you (AGAIN because I know you have nothing better to do but answer these stupid calls) but could you give S1000 to charity? Do that very day so STOP CALLING. So yeah been getting lots of calls/text recently. :dontknow2:   

  12. I have cured the wandering problem, it was all my bad. I had a couple living in a Penthouse that I’d forgotten about and a junior vamp I was training, (for want of something better to do) in a neighbourhood I don’t often play. So the file is in, the vamps are back in their right places and so far no wandering.

    The food issue is very strange. After I posted the above I went back to play a few YA. I wanted to maintain their friendships and the easy way is to take them all out to dinner one night a week, 3 courses and lots of chat and it's all good, But they don’t eat any more. They just sit and talk, I think they have to be almost starving before they eat the food in front of them. So from Vamps eating and throwing up to playable sims starving themselves? :unsure2:

    This game seems to degrade over time, it's almost as if the bugs are on a timer to kick in to ensure we update to fix them. I know that sounds insane but after 5 years it does seem to follow that sort of a pattern.

    I'm sorry I made you swear and get angry about the food, it wasn’t my intention. Your eat faster mods have made all the difference to my game play and I won't play without them. Coolspears sims can get up, at 6am, eat breakfast, take a mood bath, browse the web and then go to work happy at 9am. Thank you :give_rose:

  13. I have these and thought they weren't working after origin sneaked in an update to  1.56.52.1020 despite my attempts at stopping it. Then I realised I didn't have the first file so I am looking forward to seeing if this fixes my wandering vamps annoyance. The odd thing is that they are turning up at restaurants, eating then throwing up, they are doing the same thing with food carts? Totally odd behaviour that I don't recall seeing before. I haven't updated because I can't face playing without your mods, and I like the vamps (even if I have made them all non blood sucking) so I'm grateful for these mods Thanks :261: 

  14. Hey, so I tried this and yeah its better than the old loonies turning up. There is just one now, at the baths. Took my new island couple there for their first romantic holiday and it was awesome until the visitor, she did eventually leave around 12am then as you say there was moonlight and the pool, beautiful scenery. They did good with this.  However. I now have NCPs at all the secret lots and even in the temple! The freeze ray has never had so much use :muahahaha: I know this is not your mod, its the latest 'add an annoyance in an update' malarkey. I can't figure out why they would even consider doing this as you said, after 15 miles uphill in the heat braving spiders and pythons only to find, a fraking NCP dressed for the city, mindlessly talking to trees! :dontknow2:  Sorry a mini rant there.I'm off to play with your new fishing and archaeology mods. Oh before I go your jungle cooler has to be the best object EVER! Thank you :flowersforyou:

  15. Thank you for these I play the jungle a lot. One of my favourite things to do is camp at the Baths. To date I suffer just one visitor (usually with the brains of a pigeon), they are usually random from what I can tell and thankfully I have had no children turn up. Whats annoying, apart from the moronic deliberate swimming in that tiny bit of pool when there is an olympic size pool just begging to be used, is that they use my stuff. The campfire is one thing but sleeping in my tent really makes me angry. I love the ideas here but am a bit hesitant about maybe increased visitors to the pool. I really like my solitude. Will try and see, the only way to know is to try. Thank you again for the added fun and control you give us  :cool:

  16. I was in two minds about this as I havnt seen it a lot, and I thought the more they sing the better they sound so maybe leave them. Then they started doing in restaurants.:(( well now restaurants are totally fubar I think I will try it as without the food places to annoy me they have started doing it everywhere else :huh:

  17. LMAO Yes! finally someone who understands :loveshower: Most of the stuff they do drives me insane which is why I play single Sims. They should have total freedom to move and act as an individual but they don't of course. I love your traits mod because when I  test and play  I can give them the 'needs no one ' trait just so .well they can be me I guess  :blush: 

    The  crazy programming is why I have never brought a kids/parent pack and never will, despite having having 3 beautiful children and two awesome grandsons.   My oldest grandson (age 8) cannot get to grips with the crap either.     I wish that the interactions were 'smoother, more natural' hell I don't know. People are fun so why are they not in this game ? :dont-no-smiley:

    I am not usually so vigilant concerning the Spice Fair or even the walk bys. The Jungle Adventure pack added a whole new dimension that although I was happy to play (until the last 2 updates) I still don’t feel I really understand/get. (No bad thing it should make me play it more until I do.)

    I think that the problems were probably in my own game as the new game I'm testing so far shows no skeleton sims at all as walk bys or in the restaurants. But I still can't ban the homeless from walking by my house using the antiseptic trait. They just keep coming back. I will try again once I know all my objects are ok. This is new for me so its probably my fault.

     

    The latest update now has (in my game) homeless showing up in the jungle while my sim is on route trying to get to the temple. For me this is as devastating as finding nut-jobs wandering around Windenburg Island (Seasons install/ update?). I love places that my sims can be alone in. The island was a dream place to live and now its a nightmare like all the other neighbourhoods. :sigh:  To have the homeless interfering in the Jungle Romp is just too much, FFS leave me alone EAMaxis! :wallbash_red: .

     

    I was very happy with the Windenburg Island but now there are no private places to be I am finding it difficult to enjoy planning ahead for any game. I know this is a personal thing but I cant help thinking that the Sims are probably the neediest AI ever thought up; if they were rats they would have torn each other to pieces by now. What other (mammal) species will sit on a bed on the other side of a wall where another sim is playing chess, to eat just so they are not 'alone'? Total madness. :rolleyes2:

    This nut-bag crap is why I crave mods likes yours and am very grateful when I get it right and they work.:flowersforyou:
