wonders if traffic noise can cause lag, but can't edit her post in the stupid questions thread to add it. And refuses to double post.

I have often had traffic noise hang in my game and lag happen mainly when sims go to work in the morning or are coming home.

I've had sim's voices, like a sim yelling, hang my game. I think the game doesn't like too much audio things happening at once or it's just the game engine getting overworked with too many things at once.
