Resetting the modem after several days of connectivity issues better have solved the freaking problem. And I've managed to p-err, tick off the same person 2 days in a row. Tomorrow, I'm probably going to hit 3 for 3!

  When that was happening to us, we had to get a new modem/router. However thanks to the fact that we initially got our modem from our ISP, and I argued that since THEY'RE the ones that updated stuff so their own equipment wouldn't work as it should, I shouldn't have to pay for a new router. They ended up seeing things my way. x)
