    Has to have last wisdom tooth surgically extracted tomorrow, in a city an hour away, and they're putting me completely to sleep :(

      It did for me. I was a teen getting braces, though. My mom went through a couple decades of intense pain and infections before forcing herself to the dentist. My (grown) little sister just recently had to have one of hers out, too. They're a pain.

      I hope it goes well. I had to be knocked out completely to remove my wisdom teeth a few years ago because they were at odd angles.
