  1. Well, this is all very frustrating to read. I have been playing offline with game version 1.98 which I updated just before the horse ranch release. I have only updated the EA app. I planned to update after For Rent had the worst of the bugs worked out. still waiting.lol. My game was running VERY well and for the past year no real lagging, no crashing. I have not added anything, only removed some CC items I wasn't using.

Since the last two EA app updates my game has gone to absolute sh*t, for no apparent reason. FPS drops, freezes, and crashes, galore. I have changed nothing else. I log in to EA, go into offline mode, and start my game. The game now takes longer to load, which I find odd, as I have consistently kept my computer streamlined and keep few files on my main drive.  Though for being in offline mode it sure does frequently pop up with screen blocking error messages from the EA app when my spotty wifi inevitably goes down. I find turning off my WiFi right away and using Task Manager to close the EA app solves all that. Unless I want to use the gallery for some reason.

I've played this way daily since even before Growing Together with no issues. I have even pulled out all mods and CC still found many issues are persistent. I understand running an older game version can be problematic, I just found it interesting how no issues popped up until very recently for me. I guess I will bite the bullet and try to fully update the game.

Appreciate, all the thoughts and info everyone shared here. Thank you all.

  2. I am loving this mod. I can now keep all my CAS organized more easily.

    EA/TheSims4/Mods/CAS/*type of CC*

So now clothes, hair, skin, makeup, tattoo.can be in in a folder inside my CAS mods folder. It feels so nice and tidy.

I had a question about the overrides folder. What type of mods should be prioritized to go in that folder? I tried to make sure any of your mods that specified to go in the Overrides folder were put there. Just wondering what other mods might need to go in it.

  3. Thank you. That clarified all the bits I had gotten from the thread on the All-in-One set up. I will not be playing with them, just doing the outfit/uniform and last name changes you recommended and possibly changing these sims to have the same hair color (neon bright) for easy visual ID. Definitely going through the fresh start as it seems best for my particular situation. Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. Hi I am planning to create my AllinOnes, I recently just started playing Sims 4 *about 7 weeks* I have done some building and created about 10 sims. I have saved my sims and builds to the gallery and in a back up save. I don't feel invested in the world, so was thinking of just starting from scratch. Would it be best to set this mod up w/o any other mods and then add the mods/CC in after I have got my all in one families done?  EA has NOT impressed me with their building skills, someone suggested I download and use a fully created world save. Any idea if I would still do the same setup process as a fresh save or need to go on an NPC-icide prior to loading the temp file? Thanks to anyone that can give me a little guidance I haven't been in the game since early Sims 2.

  5. That sounds perfect for addressing that issue!!  I will be downloading that one stat. I hadn't gotten to that mod as I am reading through all your mods one by one. I have quite a few of your's downloaded, I have the newest patch, will be seeing which work with my set up. I also have quite a few mods I need to take out that addressed similar issues. I try to keep continuity and stick with only a few modders so there is less conflict.  Hoping to set up my All-in-One 16 this weekend.  Thank you so much for your help and work on these.

  6. Hello @coolspear, I've been combing through your mods and many of them sound incredible. I haven't been playing TS4 for long, already noticed they haven't done much to fix all the crap that annoyed me in the first sims. Particularly in the eating and self-care areas. I was wondering since you mentioned family dinners are more like events, does your mod address the insane behavior of not sitting to eat or getting up for another helping then sitting in a completely different spot at the table? Not using the tables drives me to apoplectic rage. Thanks for you work.  Excited to try quite a few of these in my game.
