  1. Oh there is no rush.  I enjoy the jungle immensely.  It doesn't really take too long just to use the table modless.  Some of artifacts have two stages.  The bar goes once and there is an animation of some dirt being removed and then they go into stage two.

I have no problems excavating anywhere.  The archaeology table does not work in Selvadorado or at home for me.  It might only be the dirt clump ones since I think they are the ones with two stages.

I do not think I had a single problem extracting elements or refining gems.  The elements go in the inventory and the refined gem stays on the table and you just have to pick it up.

  2. I have just started my jungle adventuring.  I have both mods in and my sim can not complete the uncovering part.  I had left the game running and forgot about it for a few minutes.  When I returned she was still trying to uncover the artifact and was on the cusp of death (never leave a pregnant idiot unattended).

    I removed the ArchaeologyTableWorkQuicker first.

As soon as the mod was out, she could uncover this fake.  I couldn't test anything else because she went into labor and was too miserable to do anything else.

Only I could cheat a relationship, take a pregnancy test, and cheat her into labor and have triplets without trying.

Anyway, I used the UI cheats to drag their energy bar into the red under the watchful eye of Aunt Yuki.  They stood for a minute trying to figure out what to do and then one by one they went to the mats and went to sleep.  They slept the normal amount you have set for a nap.  They would stand up and then lay back down until their bar was green.  This will definitely come in handy at a park

  4. :rolling:  Just picturing a toddler trying to eat that blanket has me cracking up.

Thanks so much.  I know they can use their beds autonomously, but sometimes that playground in the backyard is just too far from their bed.  I just need to drop the blanket near where they are playing for a quick pick me up and then I can store it away.  That way if the attraction is outrageous, it won't be a bother in the family inventory.

I will let you know how it goes.

  5. I click it, but man is it so obscure what how a sim will react to it.  Sometimes when I click the button to have a sim go eat, they choose to feed a toddler instead.  Have you seen this issue before and is there a way to stop it?

It reminds of Sims 3 when the sim is tired and you would click on their tired moodlet for them to sleep, but they just put the toddler in a crib instead.

The only custom content used on theses lots are the things I've made and uploaded to this site. Such as Motive Manager Machines, the Portal to summon yet more sims if your PC can handle it. Drinks trays, food dispenser objects, the Fun Satellite Dish to push them to do even more fun things. Also I have all packs to date, and when I build I don't usually take stock of what comes from where. Although I do believe those pack details are now displayed on the lot info panel when viewing builds in your library. Maxis let you know what you have or have not got before placing lot in your world.

Your other venue threads have links to all the CC used.  Why couldn't you do that here?  Are they the same ones?  There are 8 motive manager machines.  Do I have to use them all?

Ignore this.  I just went ahead and downloaded everything.  I forgot that I haven't been playing with mods for months and everything I had in a folder of yours needed to be checked over for updates anyway.  I think I grabbed everything I need.

I can't wait to go try this out.

  7. I went through and deleted all the homework in the worlds, there were not that many since the game was mid-baby production so there was maybe 2 teens and one child.  The rest were already young adults, toddlers or babies.

With the removal of LilMsSam's mods, and finally getting rid of the active homework books, it seems that the mod doing what it should.  The twins aged up to completed homework and I immediately got rid of their homework books too.  The oldest one worked hard at school and his performance did good.  He did not gain a grade, but he might in three days when he goes back to school again.

I will keep an eye on it, but I think it's fixed.

Edit:  To answer your question.  My mom sim came over to a kid and helped him with his homework autonomously.  I do not know if she convinced him to do his work or if he got it out himself.  Either way, neither interaction was helped by me.  She has not attempted it since I threw out the homework books though.

  8. @Shonie The only reason I noticed was because I am doing a 100 baby challenge and the kids/teens cannot age up early unless they get an A.  No one was getting A's.  Otherwise, it was just me not paying attention to their schooling at all and just working on aspirations.  If the tone for working hard is selected, I get them to gain grades that way, so hopefully if there is no homework for the boy, his school tone will increase his performance.

I'm going back in to my tester world and seeing how that one boy does.  I am hoping to get that homework taken away first thing and seeing how that works out for him.

  9. It's all my kids.  I just started a new world earlier and the oldest is still a toddler.  He should be aging up soon and then I will see how it goes for this family.

@Shonie:  Crap. I have that one and the homework is fun one from her.  They are labeled in such a way that when I did a homework search through the mod folder it didn't appear.  I knew about JASF's because that's one of my more favorite mods.    I took a nice long look through my folder and took that one mod out from LilMsSam and glad I saw this before the kids started school.

@coolspear  The things EA does for every single patch is amazing.  How they can break everything, every single time.  It's so annoying and one of the main reasons that I only survived making my own mods through two patches.  Watching you go through this time and again is horrible.  I hope they don't have a new expansion any time soon, that's for sure.

Edit:  The oldest child just aged up and has school in the morning.

This is what it says when I remembered to check.

It seems that it was definitely a mod conflict with one of LilMsSam's mods.  His performance bar didn't fill in and I forgot to have him study hard.  Oops.

Edit 2:  I didn't throw his homework away in time.  He completed it and now it says homework: 75% and is now stuck there.

  10. I finally had time to do just that.  I went to every house and they already said Not Started, but I waited for the next day to end anyway.  I went back to my main house and waited until the next morning again.  I put the mod in, cleaned the cache out and loaded the game.  It immediately said Completed for the homework.  Until the next day, then it was at 75% completed again.

I'm going to try in a brand new world where I have no other played households (I normally play a household for a few minutes to give makeovers and then I set it back to not played) and I will see how it goes from there.  I must have something conflicting, I just have not hunted it down yet.
