Looks like I'll finally be joining the club soon! I was thinking about updating my graphics card, but it seems everything was a bit too outdated so I bought a new PC yesterday and brought it home today. It will take me some time to get it set up, but once I do I will finally be able to check this out for myself!

Yeah, at the very minimum I need to upgrade my graphics card. I'm not even close.  My PC could handle the rest. I will admire your ZOIs in the meantime.

There is currently a bug report over on Answers HQ about it. It's definitely not the mod. Life and Death broke something again and sims wear clothes in the shower. I reset their bathing suits and  haven't noticed it again. I am using this mod and there are no issues with it.

Oh I'm definitely grabbing this one. For Rent is such a mess that it made me ragequit and take a long break maybe a week after buying it. I wanted to play as a trailer park queen. She lived in one of the units at first and then my goal was to buy several more lots for trailers. But the events and problems with tenants and rent and all that was just too much. Tenants would walk into her trailer like they lived there and I couldn't ask them to leave because for some reason the game seemed to think they lived in my Sim's trailer too. I couldn't use the features and got very frustrated. I use Bienchen's mods to stop strays from spawning. The way I got around the pet adoption event was for my Sim to own a pet and then I just let the tenants pet it all day and that was enough. None of the apartments real me has ever lived in were ever run like this, that's for sure!

I'm not playing as a landlord now but I did want to try it again and this will help squash some of the nonsense that comes with that pack.

I played around with it but  I couldn't do very much with customization due to the graphics card but it was neat. I watched Sacrificial's video and he started making a guy. I think he was trying to do a self-ZOI and it ended up looking like Richard Ramirez. As soon as I saw it, he said what I thought. He said "Oh no, he looks just like the Night Stalker!" and then he switched to making a female.

I'm installing the demo now. If my PC can't handle it, that's fine. I just want to check it out for myself. Well, it's the graphics card that I think is way under specs, not the rest of it. But I can always upgrade or get a new PC in the future.

They look gorgeous. I'm fairly certain my graphics card can't handle it but I might give it a try anyway. It looks like something I'd want to play in at some point in the future. They look so realistic.

I just tried this mod out now, my sim only went for a day trip and he got lots and lots and lots of good shit. I  never seem to have enough death relic bases to curse unsuspecting sims with. Now I have a bunch!

I did two more assignments with Matty and everything got approved on the first go. Maybe it was because he wasn't level 10 yet when he started the first assignment?

I'll try it out with an artistic one now, just to see if I get more consistent approvals at high levels, but before hitting level 10.

Edit: I don't think the traits made a difference, it was more or less the same for Harry too and I gave him Creative, Art Lover, and Perfectionist traits, as well as lot traits to boost creativity and they were still getting sent back at level 9.  He was pretty salty about it.

Matty isn't having any luck. He actually reached level 10 painting while working on his 3rd edit and it still got sent back. His first one was approved, the second one got sent back 3 times, but it could be down to his traits. Here he is reaching level 10 during his 3rd edit.

Followed by the rejection message.

I will test it with an artistic sim next and see if I get the same results.

I can check for you now.  I just so happen to have a freelance artist at level 9 painting in one of the households I'm playing and I'll see how he gets on. I'm not sure if his traits will make a difference as he's playful and clumsy. Actually, I'll try it with him first and see how I get on, then test with one of my creative artist types.

Just opened Origin to see Get Famous is 40% off and decided to purchase it. I'm just going to go ahead and download your Fame Tweaks mods before I even load up. I'll check it out without mods first and probably get annoyed after 5 minutes so I might as well go ahead and grab these now.

I just came back from being away for some months. I've been going through my folder, updating mods and all that fun stuff. Just popped into this thread to download the latest version and stumbled upon the sad troll's attempt at causing drama. It made me think back to how I first found this site. It was about 7 years ago and I was looking to see where Shimrod had moved to back when he was modding for TSM and TS3. Took a couple of seconds of googling to find out he was here, so I signed up. NBD, easy-peasy!  You even have to register on MTS to download mods, don't you? It's pretty standard for any forum, not sure what the fuss was about. Trollface clearly found it too much of an effort to do a  bit of research finding this "obscure" site and it was also far too difficult to properly install said mod he made such a big deal about having to register to download in the first place. 

At any rate, I just want to say thank you again. This  is a great community and I'm glad I got redirected here all those years ago! I'm afraid y'all are stuck with me now.

I've been playing the piano off and on for 35 years, I'm glad you're not around when I'm "practicing".   But yes, thank you for this mod. Just as I don't want to assault the ears of others around me while I practice, I don't want my sims doing the same to me.

I still have yet to try it since the update.  I will check tomorrow with my other save. I haven't gone anywhere near the jungle with my current household but I go often in my other save, so I'll report back when I load them up tomorrow.
