      I'm playing the sims 2, so unfortunately Twallan's mods won't work.

      Oh, I thought you mean Sims 3. Have you heard of the Sims 2 mod Find a Mate Crystal Ball? I never have had problems finding a spouse for my Sims 2 Sims with that mod.
