      On the Sims3 forum, someone deleted the My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 directory and restarted the launcher to get it to work and regenerate. Be sure to backup everything. If this doesn't work, ask twallan at NRaas for assistance. He's a genius. Hang in there.

      I think there's a way around it. I haven't patched since 1.31 I think and nothing happens untoward.
