  1. Updated for Patch Version: 1.36.99.1220

As of November 1.36, Maxis have expanded on their crazy, random culling system to now delete the ghosts/graves of departed family members who have not been mourned within a certain time period. Don't you just love it when game devs play the game for you, because they deem you incapable of playing it properly yourself? Cheers, Maxis. Though you should really make the game fully online, so when I boot it up you can just jump straight in, take over and start playing it directly for me there and then. Don't do it in half measures. Now who's the incapable ones?

So be warned, and occasionally mourn the mourned, lest they soon be forlorn and gone. :cryingalot:

When I have the time, I'll look into the mourning countdown-to-culling malarkey and see if I can't make it as dead as those it's aiming to cull. My graveyard is full of the traditional Goth and Bachelor ghosts, the Landgraab ancestors, as well as the deceased of my own families . What ever made you think I need or want you to remove them for me, Maxis? Ah, because you insist on bringing the game to bursting point with your heinous homeless sims spawning. Jeez, baboons have it sussed by now, even cats know which bells to ring at this stage, that you defiantly refuse to see the logic of what actually needs attending to.

  2. Updated for Patch Version: 1.36.99.1220

It won't surprise me if Maxis include activities for stray cats, dogs and racoons to make a mess rummaging through the trashcans. (TS2 needed mods to stop strays leaving little brown, steaming gifts all over the front lawn. Not Again!!!) If you spot these annoyances before I do, let me know here and this mod will evolve into pest control.

  3. Updated for Patch Version: 1.36.99.1220

Only the Alpha mod and its XML files have been updated for the patch. All the bed Binary files have not been touched. Binary files are usually not subject to patch changes. Though you never know with this massive 1.36 patch. I won't know the truth of this until I can get in game and see how the bed objects behave and display their buy mode information. If that's still intact then the patch did not alter the Binary files. Feedback on this would be appreciated.

No new beds or pet beds from the C&D EP have been added to the set. But I will consider doing so in future. If I ever get the chance to get in game!

  4. Hi @gagasluxury You can still use the files here even if you don't wish to make multiple nested sub folders. What's that old saying, it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

I don't even push it to the extreme. But it's nice to know it's in place if I wanted to. And regarding the reports that it's bad to have too many sub folders. The truth of that is going to vary vastly depending on a few factors. Chiefly the volume of mods and CC and the hardware specs of the computer. Horses for courses. Know your own machine and your mod and CC volume, then you'll have your answer what's good or bad.

Of course it's always fundamentally better to have no folders at all in the Mods Folder. So it's the fine balance between how far you can go keeping things organised and tidy for your own peace of mind, versus the machine's capabilities.
