    my game just went Silent Hill on me. all that was left were the sirens. seriously. I thought it was my graphics card getting fried it appears it's a known problem of Lucky Palms.

      well, I don't think this is the problem you're having. you could try adding some lights on community lots. plus, this problem happens very rarely apparently. and even if it happens in your game as well, all you need to do is reboot the game and it will be back to normal. I for one was getting really bored of Lucky Palms anyway. too much arid land for 18 Sim weeks of gameplay! lol
