      Dry out the wood and put it in Hermit Crab tanks. It's got holes in it and they like to climb on it.

      I bring chunks of it home embedded in my flesh every time I go to Big Bend. A pencil cholla there has red berries and is called Christmas cactus. (or tasajillo)
