  1. Okay, I've just gone in and checked the traits of several of the original 16, and they do not all have the antiseptic trait. Out of 4 I've just checked only 1 has it and she's still shown up at the Discotheque as a townie.

     

    I've attached a screenshot of my mod file where I've done the install, I think I have everything I'm supposed to?

    Oh, and I've just looked at the game generated NPC mixologist and he does have the antiseptic and awesome traits, so that's worked well! :)

     

  2. Ahh, I see. And yes, I did remove the temp file for the perm file. I really appreciate your patience with me! I hadn't seen where you had suggested that, my apologies.

    Since all that is the case, what you said is what's likely happening. The log file has been overwritten since I last played, having opened it up this morning without playing, but it was at the Discotheque nightclub that they appeared. (I had previously taken them to the romance festival and all workers were of the 16, though some did show up as townies to have their fun time LOL.) At the nightclub, there were paparazzi, dj, mixologist all new npcs, though some of the original 16 were also around in some pap/fan/stan/townie roles. I was wondering if, with your traits mod, I could go in and mark the npc butler, mailman, nanny etc., and how that would affect things for the particular ones I definitely want to keep? I will also try culling all of the new NPCs and see if the game generates more for workers and send you the log, if so. :)  Thank you again!

  3. Was able to reinstall the mod with no conflicts, and everything seemed to be working smoothly. Renamed, grouped into nonplayed homeless families, etc. The next time I went into my game, however, the game had generated more NPCs to fill worker roles and the original 16 were occasionally workers, but were also showing up in world at events (to have more orgies it seems LOL though fewer participants in these) in addition to new randoms generated by the game. Not sure where to go from here? 

  4. @coolspear Yes, I'm pretty sure it's a mod conflict somewhere as another one of my mods isn't working properly either, but was before the install. At any rate, we'll see how today turns out and I'll give you an update! LOL I'm glad I got a giggle, because @omowatcher  and I were certainly losing it when it was happening - and she's right, I get the weirdest conflicts/bugs! Let me know where to send the incriminating evidence and I'll get right on it :)

  5. Okay, so clearly I've done something wrong, who knows what. I'm still a newbie at Sims, but I've installed this mod and, I thought, followed the instructions to the letter. Though, I decided not to change all the names/outfits straight away. I knew something was up at first when it generated 27 NPC baristas instead of the 16. That was an interesting surprise. And then, when I went into my NPC households, I had over 50+ after having deleted all but Father Winter. Okay, I can handle that. Next, my family gets a different butler than they had before, one of the 27 that had generated at the café - only her traits are not spectacular and I hadn't modified her at all. So, that was another clue something was up. 

     

    And now the beautiful cherry on top - those NPCs who aren't supposed to show up at random places? Are now having a WW *rgy at Ladies Night in the bathrooms. (And yes, I have pics.) There are eight of them in there going at it, including a pink ghost sim that came from somewhere, and 5 spectators. Oh what a night I'm having. LOL 

     

    This isn't a complaint, just thought you'd be amused :)
