    One of the things I was listening too a while ago said that TS1 was meant to be a parody on consumerism. Sims were just in a constant grind to get more stuff. I think it was meant to be an architectural program at first. It was pretty grindy and sims could die at the drop of a hat.

    I wonder if different game play will be added for different age groups at a later date? That's the only reason I can see why they add them now and they don't show any real differences in paly.

    The Start

    I am probably not going to get it till I have a computer that can handle it, but I am really looking forward to seeing what others think of the game play.

    I had a very brief play with character creator. It doesn't run on my computer so Winnie downloaded it on one of his, so excuse the phone pics, he didn't have screenshots working. Of course I had to make Thomas. He turned out very young looking. It is definitely interesting and the lighting and shading are so good. I only really mucked around with it for about half and hour, so the likeness is not as close as I would like but it was fun and quite intuitive on how things work. I think for those who like to make realistic looking sims it is definitely going to give EA a run for it's money, especially if game play is not broken or lacking on launch.

    Had my first day of work today.

      Not quite. I have one more year to go. Fun fact, my new boss is actually my study partner, so she knows first hand the effort that goes into the course. After that I will probably start a course in disability, which is the field I am now working in.

    Five hour assessment today. My brain is fried but I finally gave myself permission to play sims.

    Well study has started for me again and we are off with a bang. I already have a large theory assessment due in two weeks. On top of that I start a new job in a month, thankfully the hours will build gradually as I learn the ropes. Really excited about the future, but it does meant gaming will take a back seat again. I will try and pop in here now and again.

    Thought I had better check in. All is well here but I have been really busy with study. I have finished one major assessment and I have three assessments due in the next few weeks. Plus we have been renovating the house. I opened sims for the first time tonight, but won't have much time to play until around the end of June.

    My final assessment kicked my butt last week. Totally blanked out on it. I get another crack at it this Thursday, so hopefully I will be back here after then.
    Off to do some more cramming. :thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon:
