@coolspear , sorry that I was late on this one! I'm glad @Corylea came through with a link.
@kokomaiii sometimes you just have to start all over. Take everything out, follow a good tutorial (I would recommend only one, one that really makes sense to you) and go from there. Also, Coolspear has the best advice of not letting Origin update your game. You should always pull your mod folder whenever you update the game and then wait for the modders to tell you that their mods are up to date and then put them back into the game.
You've probably heard all of this before but it's worth repeating, especially for someone who is new to mods.
Also, please read the rules for the site. Coolspear is a busy guy and while I'm sure he doesn't mind PM's, it's really not supposed to be done. Look at is this way, your questions could help someone else with the exact same problem.

@KrazyKris84there is a list of updates in each section with the appropriate version. This one is actually here.

I just had to check over the rules several times to make sure I could post a link. By the looks of it, such a thing is allowed (with some restriction, as long as it's not in a "status update", whatever that is?
Hi @Java3WG! Welcome to The Asylum.
The status updates are on the main part of the forum to the right of the screen. Kinda like Facebook and Twitter, it's there just so you can say a little blurb about whatever. Kinda like, "hey, made some awesome tacos this evening!".
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Well, there is always the old stand by. Take the mods out and start putting things back in until you find the culprit. :)

Thank you @Corylea for pointing people in the correct direction.
@jimmiejay, check out that post before asking about mods. @coolspear is awesome at keeping things and us updated on what he's doing.

@Sudarmo Coolspear is still updating mods. There are posts in the General Mods section about his break and if and when he will update. There is also a list of mods that won't be updated. I'm not sure if this is one of them, but you're free to check that list out.
Meanwhile, wait until he comes back with a yes or no on this one. There will also be a list in each of his sections of mod that are updated.
-
@Freeasabird Please read Coolspear's notes regarding his updates. He posts about the current update in each of his categories. Coolspear also took some time off over the holidays so he is a bit backed up. There is a huge thread about and all things patchy can be found here, here and here.
Also, rules can be found here but this is the most important.
*Do not ask if/when a mod will be updated. Our modders are required to update for every patch. Each of our creators has a thread for each patch which clearly states which mods need updates and when they are updated.
I'm not trying to call you out, but as you can expect, Coolspear has a TON of work to do and he's working as fast as possible while still trying to enjoy the game.

@Moonseeker23 Coolspear is still working on a ton of mods from the November update. I skimmed the list and didn't see it posted on there.
On 11/23/2017 at 12:37 AM, coolspear said:Hi @anhaeyn, and anyone else having issues with any mods. Please read the Patch News post in this General Mods section for November 1.36. Especially the last entry on the opening post I've just written there now, Status Report for 23rd (Today) to see if that might be the root of any issues with mods. Might help. Might not. Hope it does.
As you can see, he has a note from before to look at his list. Maybe you can find something here!
As with all of his mods, he lets us know when they are updated and usually has a list like that list for each topic area. Coolspear also took some time off over the holidays to catch up on his personal life.
Thank you!

@simoleon2k17 check Coolspear's list here. He's still updating a ton of mods from that huge patch in November. He also took a little personal time over the holidays. Well deserved, I might add!! Anyway, I don't see a note on here from him that it's updated and I skimmed the list and I don't see it. His update post has more information!

@victor213salas Coolspear is taking a break from updating his mods right now. When this section of mods is updated, there will be a main post in this section. Until then, if the mod isn't working for you, I suggest that you remove it from your mod folder. Playing with mods that aren't updated can seriously break your game.
-
I believe that this entire section still needs to be gone through by Coolspear. I'm sure he will appreciate your letting him know. If you haven't already, you might want to pull that mod from your folder.
-
@alessiaa12456, Coolspear has posted in other areas on how he makes mods, and there are tutorials available online. I am only telling you this because Coolspear is taking a much needed holiday and will be revisiting the updating of his mods (or not) after the new year.
My best answer for you would be to look through some of his posts and see if you can get tips from them. Also, Google on how to make a mod. I just did it myself and was kind of shocked at how many tutorials there are.
-
@Lisaja1 you are correct, I apologize for linking the wrong list. But there isn't a list at all for this section because Coolspear is taking a well deserved break to enjoy not only the holidays, but maybe just to play the game a little.
He will be back shortly to update his progress.

@sora6218 Please read the rules regarding posting on the forum and about asking the modders about the updates of their mods, as this is against the rules.
Coolspear has a huge undertaking ahead and has his update listed in the general mods section, but more specifically, each update has it's own post, which you can find here.
-
Hi! Please see the other post that I left for you. I know that you're trying to be helpful, but I really don't want their to be a horrible issue with your game.
-
Hey @alexis, it's always a great idea to let the modders update, or at least tell you that a mod is ok or needs updating when a patch is released. Fair warning, don't use mods that haven't been updated or at least checked out by the modder, as this could seriously break your game and any saves that you have.
Some members of the community (including myself ) aren't savvy when it comes to mods. Please let Coolspear and any other modder, go through their list and figure it out.
Thank you!
-
@larsV, I'm sure there are several of his mods that will need updating. Isn't that always the way?? He just gets them the way that they should be and blam, another update.
Probably removing the mods folder and waiting for the ok from Coolspear is what's needed now. You now him, he will be on in pretty darn quick.
-
@Airianna, it's always suggested that mods be pulled from the game before playing after a patch is released or you could seriously break your game and saves. Let the modders check the mods and they will let you know if they need any updating. Coolspear is awesome at updating and keeping us all posted on his progress.

@dragongirl, no worries about double posting. The forum only allows editing a post during a certain time frame. It's all good!

@Cheybabyxx the way that I see it is that all of the mods in the section have been checked and if it's not listed in the list here, then it's ok. I'm sure that @coolspearwill correct me if I'm wrong. Which is possible!!
