I'm now on a thyroid med and hoping I will soon feel a bit better!

Maybe disappearing for a bit, or at least being a bit quiet. Summer is here and with it lots of work to do. Plus trying to conserve power for those really hot days. Just wanted to give a heads up.

I think I'm scared. It might be shaping up to be another mild non-winter, which means that next summer will prolly be even more drought-hell.

Back from my spontaneous mini-vacation. Among the highlights was a concert by my favorite classical guitarist and then getting to meet her. Had a great time but good to be home. I missed the kids!

Just finished up bulk of Xmas shopping more than a month early! Points for me and Z :D

My mum's little brown dog has come to stay with us for a week. He is a sad little thing because he lost his brother a little while ago and now he is stuck here with us. He is just hanging around with me all day. Last night he settled next to the bed and I had synchronised snoring and farting in stereo, and Lilly the cat kept a close eye on the invader. It is going to be an interesting week.

A typical (spelled atypical) morning. Parents show up to keep the kids. Husband says we’ll be back Sunday; proclaims it a “no-bra trip;†and promises to buy me an appropriate dress when we get there (wherever “there†is). So am I stunned? Clueless? Intrigued? Excited? How ‘bout all of the above.
