  1. Hello @coolspear!

Following up on my neophyte investigation of the object instances listed in the long LE report I showed you the other day.

The first objects identified as 2022aB61DE6B4, 20229B61DE6B4, and 2022fB61DE6B4, that last bit I highlighted matches with the first part of the instance listed here for the V.A.T of Life.

Does this mean that I got the "mod of interest"? (Innocent until proved otherwise?) :smiletooth:

I still don't know, but I thought to mention it to you in case it is relevant to the mod.

I am taking it out before my next play, to see what happens.

  2. Thank you, @coolspear

I was looking into this. I re checked my LMS mods again. I read all descriptions, etc. I revised what I get from each once I extract files. I did the same with your mods, just to be sure. I realized that with LMS’s Reworked Spa Day Tablet mod, there is a Backyard tray fix. I checked the xmls used and it seems like they are the same as the ones used in your True excellent drinks mod. Let me mention that these mods did not spear as conflicting in MOd Conflict Detector. In any case, I took out LMS’s mod to test again. I’ve not had the chance to do that yet, though.

I do have some of your incredible Personal Storage mods. I will compare the instances today. Thank you for the suggestion because I had been looking at the Food and Drink mod instances so far.

  3. Thank you.

I am running batch fixes with S4S each time that I try new CC, and I thought all the things I got had been updated. Obviously something sneaked in. I’ll look into that.

Again,I appreciate the time you spent on this.

In a way, I am glad that it is indeed not an issue with the 16Bites mod.

  4. I know that your time is valuable and in a way feel bad for taking any of it for this, but I would like to see it as a way to help the simmer community. So, yes, I have the LE report and would love it if you could make sense of it, please.

    lastException_63658571878.txt

The Last Exception generated once, straight after loading the game. Just the once at loading up.

I have the Digital Deluxe TS4, plus Get To Work, City Living, Get Together, and Cats n Dogs, so I do have some of the packs that provide new foods. I also have Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Spooky Stuff, Movie Hangout, Backyard Stuff, and Vintage Glamour.

This LE Report is the first I've had that is this long.

Since the report details the directory paths (which I type in capital letters) the size of the font let me see that mods by LittleMsSam were listed there, as well as WickedWhims. However, while I did have WW in game when I first tried the 16Bites mod weeks ago, I did not have any mods by LittleMsSam then and I still got that LE (that old report I did not keep, sorry).

    Thank you in advance!

  5. Thank you for responding.

By “compressed”, I only mean that I downloaded the mods in their .rar files. I used 7zip to get the .package files. I placed those .package files in one folder within my Mods folder. I did not merge those files.

Great to learn about what happens with conflicting mods. I prefer not to have anything causing conflicts in game, hehe, but it’s good to know what is what.

Like I said, I do not merge mods. I was considering merging CC, but now, after reading your comment, I definitely will not.

Yes, I know the Last Exception I got is due to a good number of factors. I opened it out of curiosity because I don’t understand what is relevant to notice, and it was the longest LE I’ve got. Mentioned several mods that I use. All of the mods I have are confirmed as updated by their creators, though.

When I first used the 16Bites mod, I was organized and was adding mods one by one. I was playing for a bit to see how the game ran and then saving, quitting, clearing the caches, adding another mod. 16Bites was in the game and i got a Last Exception immediately after un pausing at the start. I took it out, cleared caches, tested, and I got no LEs.

That is why, in this occasion, having been disorganized and impatient by adding the mods from your sections all at the same time, it occurred to me to take that mod out before doing the 50/50process of elimination. Again, I deleted the caches and tested. No LEs.

Is it a coincidence? I don’t know. But since I’ve experienced this situation twice with that specific mod, I decided to mention it.

After getting all the other goodies you shared, I’m not complaining at all. And I’m perfectly fine not having all baked stuff decorated, hehe. I was smiling like mad watching my latest sim eat her damn cereal in one go and in just a very short time. I almost shed a happy tear.

  6. Hello again! Just so you know. I went on a downloading spree for your updated mods. I got about 89 of them compressed, so that added up to 109 single package files.

I checked them with Mod Conflict Detector (MCD) against any other mods I have. Oh, sorry, it was 110 packages, but after the first run of MCD your License Songs showed a conflict with another mod by LittleMsSam, so I took License out. So I got 109 mods in game.

When I started actually playing after CAS, there was an immediate LE.

I quit the game and thought about what to take out. In a previous patch I had had a similar LE situation with the 16BitesandCakesAlwaysDecorated, and taking that mod out prevented any other LEs, so I took that one mod out.

Cleared caches, etc. Then I went back in game.

    No new LEs.

It is possibly something with the combination of mods that I have, but it was curious to see that taking out that one mod, changed the situation.

  7. I think this is the first mod I got from your collection of wonders. However, it got hidden from my sight among this large number of mods you shared, hehehee.

Now that I am doing a hopefully thorough revision of the updates I was missing, I found it!!! Yay!!!

    Thanks a lot!!!

  8. Well, I am sorry, but I do not think that any of you can be left in the past.

@Corylea, I still use and enjoy the career you made for TS3. @coolspear how could we not think of so many amazing mods you have devised, created, and shared? Whatever you decide, if people like me, who are very much out of the loop with things, know and appreciate your works, you cannot be forgotten.

Just go on and enjoy your Simming and other gaming, hehee! :smiletooth:

  9. Yeah. We will be sad to not have the mods you have generously shared before, to be totally honest, but that is not the most important thing in this community. I have come to learn and appreciate that here, you are fine even if you never post anything. Or if it takes you a year to find your last year birthday wishes,  ahem, inmates here care for you and share their pills. Sometimes.:batlashes:

I don't want to disregard the outrage that you seem to be feeling now, but, please, take time to just enjoy whatever you like doing better. Relax, take a look outside the window, forget about EA and its sorry asses. If you then feel like coming over and sharing whatever you like, a picture, a story, or simply your time, that will be fine. Do not waste your time on sulking about their greediness because they probably won't change.
