LOL! We tried to have a Twilight Marathon family movie night, and managed to make it til 10:00 but wasn't easy, and barely got 1/2 way through New Moon.

Same as my son and his freinds when came over for Horror movie marathon. After one movie, they all asleep. I miss my son. Herad from him yesterday on he phne. Almost cried.

I was strictly liberal arts in college. By the time they hit 5th grade my kids knew better than to come to mom with math homework. Of course their dad swore I was faking it just to get out of it. I wasn't!

I was business and computer technology in accounting. And I can do accounting like a dream- however anything that resembles algebra or calc and I'm lost

The boy knows that Dad is for English, History homework. He learned the language at 19 and is a wiz at all the rules and uses.

college debt is the only acceptable debt IMO. Because education is something you can never lose, have repossessed, or loses value.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd have to argue with the loses value point.as someone with oodles of debt from a top law school, in shitty economies even the higher ed sometimes looks like a bad investment.

I agree Tessa. Renting might be okay for city people but if you want to live in the country you have to own land. I have never regretted my education debt or my land and cabin debt, I should be debt free in five years. But then my education expenses were far less then Tessa's were beings I am only a teacher not a lawyer.
