I would love them if they run half-way flawlessly. As it is, it often takes forever until there's a reaction. - Pretty annoying.

I usually get a slight delay in the beginning but after that it runs quite well - not bad for anything sims related :D

what was wrong with them? I've never had issues.

Since Pets, when there was a fence or wall at the upper handrail, sims were blocked from going downstairs.

gosh, I never had that. I must be lucky.

I tried one a few years back and couldn't adjust. Now that I've had an iPad for several years finger gestures might seem more natural. I'll have to try again. Thanks for reminding me. :)

Hm. In the early days of computing there were no programming languages such as there are today. Then, to program a computer you needed to use machine code or "Assembly" To store a value in a register for the computer to use you would "poke" it there. To access that data you could then "peek" the register.

So ends today's lesson on peek and poke and how they came to be used in computerese.
