Had my first day of work today.

Not quite. I have one more year to go. Fun fact, my new boss is actually my study partner, so she knows first hand the effort that goes into the course. After that I will probably start a course in disability, which is the field I am now working in.

Well study has started for me again and we are off with a bang. I already have a large theory assessment due in two weeks. On top of that I start a new job in a month, thankfully the hours will build gradually as I learn the ropes. Really excited about the future, but it does meant gaming will take a back seat again. I will try and pop in here now and again.

Thought I had better check in. All is well here but I have been really busy with study. I have finished one major assessment and I have three assessments due in the next few weeks. Plus we have been renovating the house. I opened sims for the first time tonight, but won't have much time to play until around the end of June.

My course unit is getting pretty heaving so I have to back off sims for a while. I still have lots of pictures to catch up on so shouldn't disappear all together. I am up to ratios in financial reporting.

Got thought the first assessment. Not as long and drawn out as I thought it would be.
There is another one next week that is a continuation of this weeks paper, so I think it will be okay.

Note quite. I am still recovering from flu and have developed a bursitis on top of that. I only got half way through today, but my lecturer is awesome and helped me get that far. I have two more goes at it till the final mark. I have next Tuesday and Wednesday to finish and now I know what I have to review before then to finish.

Get rest! Luckily your lecturer is human and knows what it's like to not be at 100%.

So we had the funeral for my dad today.
I did not say anything earlier because he died just before my birthday. We were not close in the end, he was 88 and I don't think he wanted family close, just in case we tried to interfere with his life. He was a stubborn old recluse, and not very nice at times, but we will still miss him.

Just did the entry test for the course I want to get into. I think I did okay, it's pretty basic stuff. Offers come out in June, so here's hoping I make the lists and there aren't too many people down for the course.

So the computer has been really sick the last week. Winnie is trying to fix it, so I am on the old clunker for now. Fingers crossed that he can get the CPU fan up and running again.

My mild cold is not so mild anymore. To say I am pissed would be an understatement!!!

We are meant to go onto the NBN (National broadband network) today. It will either mean I can load and read pages much better or I will disappear because they stuffed it up some how. Fingers crossed it is the former.

Really good so far. Winnie and I can finally use the net without slowing each other down and I can open the more picture heavy threads here and not wait for ten minutes to load. We are part of the first wave to use it here, so it will be interesting as more and more people get on.

You know windows has a trash can where your deleted files go, provided you have not emptied it you should be able to go in there and get your deleted cc back

It has just been never ending. Very high humidity at the moment and we are having a thunderstorm here now.
We have had a heatwave nearly every week since November. It is getting exhausting.
