did you try the save cleaner from simlogical?

I have that somewhere, but I haven't used it in ages. I will give that a try, thanks!

UGH! I so hate that for you!

I hate it too, but in my jump drive, I found out that my lost saves were combined inside another save that has not been looked at in months. I found about 20 lost games. So excited! This will hopefully fix my crashing that crash log classifies as an unknown cause. No conflicts, no mods, no cc and it still crashes. My computer has needed it for like 5 months, so I'm just going to grin (grimace) and just do it. I just hope I don't forget sims 2 stuff this time.

Thank you, Steam for having a backup option. I would hate to have to download Skyrim again.

I went on a superspree. I am just dreading the sims 3 spree since I do still have saves that are crammed full. I am very glad that over half were converted to store stuff only.

Go around and check any Ground fault receptacles, One of those if tripped will take out the entire circuit.

I have no clue what that even is, but it was solved. The breaker box was so hot that Jason left it off and then went to bed before remembering to turn it back on. Thanks though! I will have to remember that since it happens quite frequently in the front part of the house (ca. 1885).

Hot breaker box sounds dangerous- and like there might be a problem.

It broke everything. Just to randomize click on a sim takes 30 seconds each time now. Half my programs have errors that were not there prior to the update, but I just now realized it because it did not affect sims 2.lol

I am sorry that this happened. I recently had a similar situation when darn Origin was last updated in june. I decided to uninstall and reinstall all my EPs, and SPs. It took me about a week, so I think I may understand the frustration. Good luck with this, Jenn!

Sorry to hear that. Something that confuses me about the game is the save game system. I think I have different games, but they are all saved together. I have lost several attempts to play because of this.
