Question, please, if I don't use the Overrides folder, can the mod still work?

Hello Neia. I’m sorry you’re having this issue. I can’t contribute anything new, but I empathize with you if you feel frustrated. I'm having a completely different issue in game, and it has also been recurring. Like you, I have deleted the game folder and created new resource.cfg files, repaired the game, etc. The only time when the issue is not present is without mods, which I don’t think I could dare do any longer, hehehe.

 I just want to say that there’s definitely a mod combination or setting that messes up things for us, so, it’s going to be hard, but I think we can find it. I’m making a log of what settings I have in mods and how they all interact, to help me identify the issue.

Like it happened to babies or toddlers in TS3!!!! I remember I saw more than one toddler trying to dis their path to get somewhere under a tunnel of snow!!! I thought they were moles instead of toddlers!!!! Oh, Goddess!!!! I think EA/Maxis have something against earlier age stages, hehehee!!!!

In my previous run, the household also had nine hungry children, so cooking single dishes was a bit selfish on my sims' part, hehehe.

I was using TS8 as well, standard EA speed. I had sims queue up for cooking single meals very frequently, or as KimberAnne better explains it, "the push to cook is strong too." Thank you.
