*cries with relief* I managed to send that Error 12 back where it came from with some super google-fu. I reeeally hope changing the virtual memory paging file sizes isn't going to jack my computer up - but I was able to save!
-
Thanks for that info, nixicole! I recently lost all saves for a game I'd been playing because error 12 wouldn't let me save any of them. My fault though for not quitting before I tried saving them all.
-
Good for you, Nixicole! Yes, both Windows and TS3 use a lot of virtual memory and fight for it when they can, hehehe. Allocating more than the recommended memory is wise.
-
I know about CW's editing the game file to allow more, but I didn't know anything about pagefiles until this.
-
-
Of course, I'm gone for a couple days and there are updates for TS3 at Nraas. Lol!
-
Are these for the Origin patch or are they also for 1.67. I was thinking about playing TS3 again so if those need updating I'll need them, but I didn't install the origin patch. I'm on 1.67 (or I think that's what it's called)
-
I'm still on 1.67, too. I see no need to "update" to 1.69 myself.
-
They are coding updates. They are listed as working with patch 1.63-1.69 on each page. I never update to 1.69, myself.

I think I might be not simming until after Season comes out and I win the lottery so I can afford both it and Supernatural. :( I can get into it right now, and don't know why.
-
And after checking twallan's site to find that he has SP fixed, I'm seriously considering patching now. What to do, what to do?
-
Think about if there are any other mods that are a major part of your gameplay (like some of TFM's)
-
Not majorly, I don't believe - although I do use a ridiculous amount. On the bright side, it's good motivation to clean up my mods folder and go through and see what I really need. It's gonna be a long night.
-
-
I think I might go play awhile.*gives up stalking twallan's wiki - for the moment* Happy simming, everybody!

Aaaand I've certainly set myself a challenge this time. An all-inclusive home (with Woohooer in mind, too!). Problem? Basement. I know how to go do one below a foundation. Now I just need to see if that will cause any problems with a sunken den, even though I don't plan on the basement being below it at all. Oh, and I'm starting this on a 30x30 lot. I have a bad feeling I'll regret it.
-
As someone who has made an all-EP inclusive house on a 20X30 prebuilt lot, I feel your pain.and the intoxicating "Can I do it?" excitement as well :D
-
I couldn't. :( Not with wanting to make it a generational home to. I tend to go big and sprawling to make sure there are no route blocks, anyway. Oh, well. I upgraded to 60x60 to have room for the barn, too.
-
-
WOOHOOER is released! Yay! Seriously, though, I shouted for joy. :)
-
Omg. I don't even wanna think about how long I just spent working on one SECTION of roof. Head. hurts.
-
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe Black Friday, and that my mom ordered Supernatural and Seasons for me, since they were both 50% off yesterday.
-
that's awesome. Seasons is awesome, and I can't live without fairies' "Bloom" now from Supernatural. it feels like cheating but who cares. x) I hope you enjoy your playing time!
-
Got a good Tablet AND a 32 GB micro SD for about $90 less than the latter on Amazon, a speaker for our Telly, and.well, that's it.
-
-
Alright, everybody, we're beyond officially into FRIDAY. So everyone who's been having a bad week, that's about to stop. Even if I have to end up posting a pic of my curly head of frizz to make you laugh.
-
Whoot! We made it, everybody! Well, unless, like me, you have to work tomorrow. But still. COOKIES!!!
-
For those of you who haven't had time to check twallan's wiki yet, there was an emergency update to Woohooer late last night.
-
Alright, all you fellow country music fans! This post is almost a week late in coming, but it's officially "Cupid's Got a Shotgun" month. (That's my favorite valentine- or romantic-themed song.)
-
Random thought as my game was loading and I was thinking about the family I'm fixing to start playing: has anyone "hybrid-ed" a ghost-werewolf? I think I'd have to start them as a playable ghost, then add the werewolf. Hmmm. I might have to test that combo before I start a real game.
-
I actually had one born in my game last week! I've been meaning to share him and his dad.
-
I am considering making the dead father of my grown married guy. The one thing that always bothers me about starting a fresh game with new sims is that there are no older family genetics to make things more interesting.

is officially back on facebook. Who needs free time anyway?
