Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Rose! Still about 13.5 hours to go for me.

It's been interesting so far. hot and sultry. We have about 30c here at 8 in the morning. It's meant to be raining later.

I had to work this morning and it felt like the apocalypse had come. Deathly quiet, no cars and weird weather. I quite enjoyed it. Probably because there were no zombies. >.<

My first one is over but more on the way this weekend. Too much of a good thing? Not really. Merry Christmas to you, Rose.

Peas, carrots, tomatoes, corn, lettuce, cucumber, zucchini, watermelon, rockmelon, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and various herbs.

I'm jealous. If I tried to intentionally grow them, I couldn't even grow enough weeds for a decent salad -- assuming, of course, that a weed salad would be decent!

I have a weeding machine. His name is Winnie! I doubt if I would have any garden at all without him.

Yes made it myself. ground hazelnuts, maple syrup and cocoa.

Made it. It was very gusty last night but not as bad as I thought. Still need to see if everything survived the night outside.

It's been a very windy spring here, probably because it's been jumping from warm and sunny to cold and wet so much.

Ours is at he bottom of a hill and has sunk a bit with all the water over the years. They are jacking it up now to straighten things.

Cracked grout in the kitchen, but no cracked tiles! Woohoo!

Great cracked grout easily fixed, tiles not so. They did excellent work, my uncle had to move his house cracked walls and all sorts of things. he needed it sitting up higher because of water.

Once it starts the flood gates have been opened. Congrats.

You kitty growls when someone is at the door? I've only lived with a couple of cats.one would throw himself shamelessly at whoever was at the door, and the other was an assassin. Strangers were lucky to leave without bloodshed, which wasn't often. There was always bloodshed.
