Okay, so I was a few days early!  But there is the damn update.

I kinda suspected it was going to happen on my day off 

It looked really small.  I'm hoping not a lot was affected.

After unplugging my external, I think I'm good. I just can't access everything I have ever done now. Ugh. All my Origin games I have on rotation are now locked away. Sigh.

This was me the other day. I totally know the feeling.

Good! We lost power a week or so ago without warning. I was a little annoyed.

That is annoying! I get that all the time. It could be a perfect day and wham! no power.

I am so upset. I have to update all my mods to 1.69, which is funny that it's only ErrorTrap because I redid them all like 3 days ago. But my lighting/water mod doesn't work anymore

Origin isn't allowed to update anything without my permission - including itself!

It isn't allowed to autostart on boot too.

I hope the house was cleaned up before shared.

Yes, but you can't play Sims 4 without updating.

I just went and tried, just in case. The play button was still greyed out. I'll try click on Sims 4 on the desktop and see if that goes differently.

I've played in offline mode to avoid patching before. I wonder if there's another setting you need to do? I also have TS4 disabled in the Origin settings. I disabled "Origin in game" in that menu. I updated mine, it took less time than I thought. Modless sucks indeed, but at least I know the issue I was having with weddings before was mod related. Now to figure out which one it is that caused it, ha!

Bigger question: Was the power back on?

Yeah, it ended up only being out for about 20 minutes, but by then I was too comfy to stop reading/napping.

I had a bikini I finally got rid of. It was bigger than a freakin diaper. I just kept makeup, hair a few odds and ends in clothing.

I have over 4 gigs and none of it has been hosed due to patches and or expansions. The club outfits has an issue with cc but its the game not the CC.

It had nothing to do with the game. It was just shitty work.

LOL! I love hair. I hardly play it either, but at least I'm updated. That means there should be a patch any second now.

Seeing your pics makes me consider doing it but the fast and furious patches make me cringe.

I do believe you are correct. I am looking at a pgc/legacy/100 baby challenge combo. Hahaha. Not even going to try it. Too much work. I'm also eyeing a vampire legacy with really interesting rules.

That last one might be interesting. Something that I think you would be great at!

I agree, Jenn!! It was as if it was meant to happen, but it's good to have those features now. Loralie, I've not put my mods in again since the last patch. :(

Download sprees are awesome, TFM. Updating 200 game mods is not. I am so glad I am not a modder and can totally see why so many have abandoned Sims 4 with having patches twice a month.

LOL not sure I could deal with a new one. That is cool about the elliptical machine. My Dodge truck is an 83 has hand crank down windows. My Charger is a 1971 I tell people except for cell phones and computers we might as well live in the 70s.

LOL Oh yeah and the microwave, weren't they coming out in the late 70's but they weren't as good as the newer ones.

Sorry to hear that. Something that confuses me about the game is the save game system. I think I have different games, but they are all saved together. I have lost several attempts to play because of this.
