We have our own computers, but Hubby would rather play WoW on my newer fancier laptop then his 4 year old one. Trying to get him to try it on the old computer so I don't have to reinstall TS2.

Not yet. Malaware Bytes found one thing it got rid of but the virus/scam computer lock out was still there so we left it doing a long scan over night. It's a dinosaur so everything takes forever. He of course doesn't use his external for anything but a paperweight.

Then you should be sneaky and sneaky like place stuff on the external for him -snickers- But overall, that sucks.

:-( That happed to me several days ago when my son collected very dangerous virus and tried to reinstall Windows. he did wrong procedure and all my Sims data were erased plus other important files. So I know how are you fill.
