Having spent the day with the family I couldn't agree more.

B does that to me sometimes. He's in the airport so he has to turn his phone off, or when he's with clients he sets it to vibrate, then I text and call and he doesn't get them. Then gets home and says "oops, sorry". He's lucky he's so damn cute, lol.

My husband knows the penalty for not answering his cell phone is swift and severe. I only call if it's important so he damn well better answer!

college debt is the only acceptable debt IMO. Because education is something you can never lose, have repossessed, or loses value.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd have to argue with the loses value point.as someone with oodles of debt from a top law school, in shitty economies even the higher ed sometimes looks like a bad investment.

I agree Tessa. Renting might be okay for city people but if you want to live in the country you have to own land. I have never regretted my education debt or my land and cabin debt, I should be debt free in five years. But then my education expenses were far less then Tessa's were beings I am only a teacher not a lawyer.
