Picture this: 1 house, 2 females, 1 male. Both girls get pregnant within minutes of each other. Both girls then give birth to quads. Ya, thats my sims house at the moment. My oh my what have I gotten myself into, haha.

Did you remember to turn the chance of quads to zero afterwards?
-
lol
-
LMAO better you then me, I am going to try to play later today. I shouldn't laugh it could happen to me.

Had an uncomfortable doctor procedure made even more uncomfortable by having to fight back a fart while my doctor was working with my 'lady bits'

Anybody want a bouncing-off-the-walls, refusing to listen and/or do as told 5 year old? You can have him free of charge!!

I hope he doesn't see this but when Akeem was four he was like that, I too lived in an apartment. I bought one of those kid harnesses with a leash, I know humiliating but that is the idea. I took him to the park and walked him like a dog and ran him, he begged me to take it off, I told him it would come off when he listened. I think that is the problem he needed more exercise, because the harness and leash came off the third time and never went back on because he listened. Now I live in t.
-
I'm not looking forward to when my baby can walk, I don't think he's going to be anything like my oldest child. He was a great listener, but no not this baby. He loves to test me all the time :(
-
Chay is very well behaved except in the winter when its too bad for him to play outside. I am glad we live in the country.
-
I love this week, its the only week I am going to be able to declare that I have a 5 WEEK old, and a 5 YEAR old when talking about my kids!

Aww! Congratulations on the new baby!
I love coincidences like that, too. :)

Had to break my vow to myself to never get a Win8 machine. Just got a new pc with a major increase in ram from what I'm used to, and my games are GORGEOUS!

still holding to my vow. But I am so happy for you!
-
Congrats -- I'm just putting together a replacement for a system that died and I stuck with good old Win7. But I expect to switch to Win10 when it's released.
-
Well switching to Win10 when it comes out is my plan too
-
That awkward moment when you get all ready to go shopping and are heading out the door, only to realize it's a holiday and the store is closed. Ya, I just had that one.

I'm just glad I remembered before we even left our apartment unit. We had our door open and were standing in the hall when I had the light bulb moment of remembering.
-
I've done this.
And I WALKED!
and didn't realise until I was right at the door!
Oh well.
-
Ohhh y'all are in Canada! No wonder I was confused xD
-
Ok, who allowed the telemarketers to try and call your house at 8 in the fricken morning?

When we had a phone we just let our machine talk to their machine. LOL Cohzaku, I remember those fun days, I had a cold one time and they asked to speak to my mother, it annoyed me so I say I sorry she in asylum, what about your father, she shot him. They hung up. Fun times
-
LOL Wolf and Cohzak! Satins Sprite, I am sorry, I hate those telemarketers any time.
-
Tee-hee! I sound like a grumpy old dude when woken up - I'm aleep during the day - and I say, "DO. NOT. WANT!" Then I press an utterly random assortment of numbers, then hang up. Bwahahaha!
-
Newest lesson of parenting: If you want to sleep in on a special event day (such as Canada Day when you intend to take your kid to the fireworks), don't reveal your plans to them beforehand or you might find yourself being woken at 6am.

We leave for holiday in 3 days, the kids still don't know we are even going anywhere.
-
So true! Even the three year old remembers!
-
Next year we'll know better. At least we had a fun day though, our son LOVED the events he was able to do at the park (Carousel, train, petting zoo, pony ride)
-
Woohoo! New portable drive is in, now to reformat my system and see if it doesn't solve some of the graphics issues I've been having!

*fingers are crossed*

Good luck!

Had a slight setback. Couldn't find my recovery discs. Fortunately grandmother has the same PC as me so I called her and going to borrow hers.
-
Oh how I'm not liking these new recommendations to not use powder formula until 2-3 months old - It would be so easy to just have the water in the bottles ahead of time with some pre-measured formula to dump in for a fresh feed every time. Figuring out how to make all the needed bottles with the liquid stuff is annoying.

They always come up with new stuff and some good reason why it should be done this way or another. I say . follow your instincts
-
Oh, and I don't think I congratulated you. So congrats on the precious baby boy
-
Thanks guys. Well, ya, we picked up 2 cases of the liquid stuff but I really am thinking of talking to the man and going to powder when it's done. My other son was a powder formula baby and he was smaller birth size than this little man and did just fine.

I think today is when Michalien had to go into the hospital. I wish him luck and a speedy return to us!

Thank you SS and Wolfmoon and Choz for nice wishes. Tomorrow is the day when I have to go to hospital. I calculated days according to European time zone 2. I apologize for inconvenience.
-
No inconvenience Mich. I just got the timing wrong. The thoughts are still the same though, even if the day is different - I wish you a speedy return to us.
-
Thanks SS. Hugs.

I could have sworn I had seen somebody post a thread about the site I hinted at the other day, that I snagged free store content from. Although now I'm wondering if it wasn't just a dream, haha.
- Show previous comments 2 more
-
I am hoping that was a dream since we are not supposed to be posting about those types of sites.
-
Brain? What is it?
-
I'm definitely sure it was a dream, because the way it had went in my head was that I had seen the thread in the "recent threads" list and made a mental note to check it later. The dates on the actual recent threads though, were much further back though than I had thought, in this dream. So yeah, it was just really strange, haha.

Nothing worse than installing a ton of new CC, and I mean a TON, only to discover you broke your game - and forgot to make a backup before doing so.
- Show previous comments 2 more
-
So sorry to hear that. I hope you can get it sorted out soon. *hugs*
-
Unless I can find every piece of it to pull it out, it's likely going to mean a complete and full reinstall
-
Ouch again!! Biiiiig hug!!!
-
May have just scored a nice find - for the past two days there's been box of infant clothes in my buildings "lobby" area. No one's moved or taken it, so I figured I would since I got baby on the way. Gonna just hang on to it for a couple days or so to make sure no one puts up a note looking for it, but if no one does, all I can say is "SCORE" haha.

Woohoo!
-
Well my other half's mom had some of our sons old stuff still. Not all because she had given some of it away and sold some more, and she'd managed to buy a few more things but since this isn't my first, one thing I learned is that you can't have too many clothes. Always need to be prepared for spit-ups or poo explosions.
-
Nice find, we had nothing for our little one, luckily Wolfie has a big family lots of kids.
-
I think I'm finally beginning to see why so many people, especially those who either are or once were parents. One kid, I could deal with. Now with two - the extra assist in staying awake is looking tempting
- Show previous comments 1 more
-
Ah! lol.
-
Lol, makes so much more sense with that extra line in there.
-
LOL very much so! And yes I drink a LOT more coffee/mountain dew with two than I did with one- and they're now 12 and 8!
-
Oh how I wish they had obedience school for kids. Even if there was, somehow I think my 6 year old would be a challenge even for them, ugh.
- Show previous comments 1 more
-
Some kids are like that. And there's nothing can be done. I know that from my own experiance.
-
lol can my 3 year old go this child! She is more trouble then the other 3 put together, is he your baby?
-
Actually Wolf, he's my oldest. I have a 1 year old too.
-
All moved in to a new place, and MOSTLY got everything unpacked. Now for the transition period of getting not only ourselves settled but more importantly getting the kids used to the new surroundings.

Congrats
-
According to Kivak it doesn't take kids long, I have never moved until I went to college then moved here, twice in my life not much really.
-
so glad you are finally in the new place SS. Hope all goes well with the kids.
-
So its been awhile but just wanted to let you all know I'm still around. Just been busy and had some stuff come up.

Welcome back!! *hugs*
-
Good to see you around SS, I miss your jokes.
-
Hi SS, same here with me.
-
Watching my oldest play Minecraft for the first time, on the Playstation 4 version of the game, is quite comical, haha. Thankfully I had the foresight to put it in the peaceful mode of the game for him for now.

-
Love that game!! So funny to watch my little one play, she gets into it!
-
First experience was with pocket edition.
I went through my first night and was so traumatised I not only switched the game to peaceful mode.I totally forgot I had done it and was still terrified of the night for about a month's worth of playing before realising there wouldn't be any more monsters.
-
I'm a seasoned PC minecraft player, so I find the console version to be very awkward for me to use. I've tried and just, it's very unnatural to me.
-
Wow, I'm surprised no one made any reference to yesterday being Star Wars day, May 4th - May the Fourth be with you. Yeah, just gonna go back to my corner now.

My son came home and told me about it, and watched one of the movies with Z last night
-
I actually ended up having to explain it on a work conference call. Sacrilege!
-
LOL Signy, we were talking about watching it but we couldn't find it, it must be at Grandmothers house.
-
GAH! Spent about $40 replacing the frames on kiddos glasses with expensive specialized lenses, then turn around and misplace them three days later while getting him some new books at the bookstore. I so, so, SOOO hope they turn up and that they aren't totally lost.
-
Found $50 on the ground today, with no one anywhere around to even ask if it belonged to them. Would have returned it if the person was there and it was theirs, but there was no one. So, I gained an extra $50!!!
-
I've felt this way for a little while now, but today it's been made official: I HATE PEOPLE!! We've been messed around with so many times now on various issues, that I've just lost all my respect for anyone. I like to try and see best in people, but right now, I just can't.
-
Hope things get better soon SS *hug*
-
It is in the nature of man to hurt others as well as to love. Unfortunaly, sometimes hurting prevails. Hope that one day someone will show up in your life who will show rather fullness of love. Sorry to hear about your (bad)feelings.
-
Hang in there. I recommend poking around this site some if you want to start to feel better about the human race. :)
